Great place but a few things to be aware of
Great neighbourhood. Beautiful place except for the following:
We were there during a heat wave (Alberta summers) and unfortunately most of the windows on the main floor either don't open or don't have screens (living room, sliding door in dining room and no screens on windows in kitchen) so the house became uncomfortably hot. The basement was cool but is poorly lit and has an extremely old and uncomfortable couch. The back deck was beautiful but there were wasp nests under it which made it unusable (because of the wasps we were unable to use the bbq as well - it was chained and locked down so we couldn't move it). There is a video doorbell which has an app on the owners phone to monitor those coming and going from the property - a security feature I didn't appreciate. In the home there is another video camera which I was told I could cover but the potential for audio capturing made me feel very uneasy. When I unplugged the machine she was alerted and texted me and requested I plug it back in. Why I don't know... These security features should be referenced in the online listing or removed from the home.
