Located within easy walking distance (1/2 mile) of charming downtown Kona and only 3-5 minutes from other shops, restaurants and open markets, the Kona Reef has free parking, both covered and open. There are elevators for all buildings, and from the upper parking lot level there are only 9 stair steps up to 4th floor level.

Enjoy the oceanfront swimming pool and soak in the jetted hot tub, or just relax with a good book in one of the poolside or lawn lounge chairs. Join friends/family in the covered cabana for a BBQ using one of the complimentary BBQ's, while enjoying a favorite tropical beverage.

From your own spacious private lanai, enjoy a morning cup of Kona coffee or afternoon favorite tropical beverage while appreciating nature at its finest; feeling the rhythm of the sea happening just 60 feet in front of you. Enjoy the everchanging colors and textures of the ocean and sky throughout the day. Watch the athletic Spinner Dolphins, swimmers, Canoes, whales (during whale season)out in front, as well as Sea Turtles and colorful fish in the tide pools. You can also enjoy watching the parasailers as well as the cruise ships anchoring in Kona Bay, and the surfers in the waves right in front since this is one of the best surfing spots on the island.

Kona Sunsets are world famous, so experience an unobstructed view of the glorious colors, sizes and shapes of sunset, maybe even catch a rare glimpse of a green flash.
Comfortable, clean and appropriately decorated with woven wall mats from Micronesia, D37 has a King bed, comfortable interior and lanai furniture as well as one of the best ocean front views around. Keep in touch with free Wi-Fi in the unit as well a toll free long distance to the mainland, USA and Canada.

For your convenience, there are several elevators in the complex, with 9 stair steps involved to get to the top 4th floor unit after using the elevator.

Kona Reef D37

The place was nice. The view is great. I would make a suggestion to the owner to maybe purchase some plastic plates or something so you can have dinner down at the bbq area since they don’t allow glass. The main bed and the fold out bed are horrible and should be replaced. The runner carpets in hallway and kitchen are in desperate need of cleaning. Only other suggestion would be some nice beach chairs and a usable ice chest would be nice. For the cost of rental I think they could afford more than a styrofoam ice chest. Overall a great place to stay.
