Maushop Village Getaway with Ocean Views, Steps to Private Beach

Enjoy the best of Cape Cod from the charming Maushop Village in New Seabury! Only steps away from our private beach, our one-bed, one-bath cottage is the perfect place to escape and relax.

Brightly lit with high ceilings, our cozy condo features a full kitchen, a newly renovated bathroom, a sunroom with ocean views, and a spacious patio with a gas Weber grill and dining area. With a Queen bed and a full-size pull out sofa bed, the condo sleeps 2-4 comfortably. Our cottage is fully furnished with all the amenities you could need for your vacation getaway, including two smart TVs, wireless internet, a new Weber gas grill, beach chairs, a new washer/dryer, and all bed linens and bath towels. Cool off with the portable air conditioning unit, or open the windows and turn on our 3 ceiling fans for a refreshing ocean breeze.

Our kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay - brand new toaster, new microwave, and new dishwasher, an electric range, and a large refrigerator/freezer. Brew the perfect cup of coffee with our Keurig, Nespresso, or French Press, or enjoy a cup of tea with our electric kettle.

In our home, you can remotely or unplug completely - with a desk, high-speed wifi and two cable tvs, you’re set up for anything you need. Grab a beach chair and towel and take a short walk down to our private beach, where you can soak in the sun or go for a swim, or take a long walk on one of the trails winding through the neighborhood.

The Popponesset Marketplace is within walking distance, where you can find great food, coffee, shops, mini-golf, bike rentals, and more. Mashpee Commons where you can shop, eat, bowl, join a spin class, or enjoy a movie, is only a quick drive away.

PLEASE NOTE: For any bookings in May through mid-June, there is a possibility the beach may be closed for maintenance for the upcoming summer season. This is out of our control and is managed by the condo association.

Cleaning Fees: In an effort to provide all of our guests with turnover service and refreshed linens we work with a local cleaning service who specializes in short term rentals. Our vendor charges a premium flat fee for this service and we unfortunately are unable to adjust cleaning fees for this rental.

Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Check out is 11:00 AM ET. Please remove bedding and place it in the hamper. Place used dishes in the dishwasher. Place used towels in the tub. Turn off all lights & fans.
Empty all food from the refrigerator, freezer & cabinets. Take out your trash & recycling to the provided trash bin in the shed. Turn off the AC. Lock all doors. Close patio umbrella. Cover grill
Please place parking passes and beach flag in the kitchen where they were when you arrived (please note, there is a $250 fee to replace each item if they are missing).
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Zero tolerance policy for missing the second payment due date. After one follow-up and the owner reserves right to cancel reservation without refund

This unit was very clean and the kitchen well equipped . The outdoor patio and grill provided a lovely area to dine with a gentle seabreeze. The private beach was just a 2 minute walk. which was a big plus! The location was very convenient to shopping, restaurants and other entertainment as well as easy access to the rest of the cape. Definitely a very nice family friendly location.

Perfect stay in this adorable house. The location was so amazing. We were able to check in early and the process was easy. Frank was quick to respond to any questions that came up. The beach was a 5 minute walk and so beautiful. We walked to the Marketplace for coffee and lunch also. We were there for a wedding at the Pompanessett Inn which was very quick to get to. The bed was very comfortable and the hosts provided all amenities we needed. Would highly recommend!

I’ve stayed at a number of properties in Maushop Village over the years, but I think this one was my favorite! It’s beautifully designed and decorated, and its location on the corner gives it a more private feel. Francis and Cait were wonderful hosts. Instructions for check in and check out were clear and all the details needed for the stay were readily available. They were extremely responsive when I had a questions and they provided some great local recommendations, too.Don’t hesitate to book!

Great location to explore the Cape

This location with access to a private beach is ideal for a Summer getaway. The place was comfortable and had nearly everything we needed for our stay. Easy to get to everything on the Cape. Only recommendations we’d have is it is inexpensive enough to supply a roll of paper towels and sponge/dish cloth in the kitchen and for guests like myself over 6’ tall replacing the shower head with hand held one would be helpful. We’d certainly stay here again.

Ideal spot for Cape Cod getaway

The location is perfect, walkable to beach with beautiful surroundings. Loved being able to walk to Raw Bar, coffee shop, market, etc. Maushop Village is just the perfect place for a serene, beautiful place to unwind. Our unit, 1 Barneys Ave. was just as described, clean, comfy, and very close to the beach. Our host, Francis, responded quickly to a couple of questions which was greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again, and hope to do so soon!

Disappointed

While the location and the condo were great, the actions of the host left much to be desired. On the night before our departure, the host informs us that he has scheduled workers for the next morning, sometime between 8:30-12:30. So while we are trying to clean up, pack and do the requested housekeeping before catching a flight, we were told to deal with it! Extremely unprofessional!!!

Jody, I am sorry to hear you that you were disappointed with your check out. Over the course of the week, we were always willing to try and help you have the best stay possible. In addition to all the recommendations in our Welcome Guide, I sent my favorite options for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner to you directly via text (I also sent opportunities for great shopping locations at Mashpee Commons) after you reached out directly. The night before your scheduled check-out, I reached out to inform you that Home Depot was scheduled to deliver a replacement refrigerator. In May we purchased a new fridge for the home and it was delivered with a door that opened the wrong direction. The item was backordered and the earliest Saturday we could receive a new fridge was the date of your check out. Earlier in the week I called Home Depot to request a delivery window after 12 PM. On Friday evening, they informed me that the window was 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and it could not be changed. I immediately reached out to inform you that I would do everything I could to have the fridge delivered after your check-out. Due to the inconvenience, I also offered you an extended checkout and asked if I could provide you and your husband coffee and breakfast for the inconvenience. I arrived to the home at 8 AM that Saturday with coffee and breakfast, but found that you chose to check out prior to that time. I certainly never communicated a message that you needed to "deal with it" -- It was a difficult situation that we tried to manage both your needs and the needs of future guests, while also trying to provide an additional level of service for any potential inconvenience.
