Come escape on the Cape at Evans Oasis in Osterville. This unique style home sleeps 6 but can accommodate up to 8. Great foe your wedding weekend! Grab your flip flops and beach bag for a quick walk/drive to local beaches or stroll into Osterville Center (10 min walk). House is privately situated on a residential side street. Enjoy your beach vacation in a fully appointed home with easy access to all points on the Cape and Islands.

Beach Pass Included for access to all Barnstable.

Travel up the road to Craigsville beach (2.7 miles /6 min drive). Don’t forget to stop by the iconic Four Seas Ice cream on the way back to the house.

Home is located on a quiet residential side street with easy access to Main Street and sidewalk to walk to village center.

Osterville village is centrally located on Mid Cape just ~20 miles / over the Bourne or Sagamore Bridges. Osterville offers the quaint upscale Cape village experience and a great home-base location for easy access to all the Cape has to offer.

From the house the village center is a short walk (0.5 mi) or there’s local street parking. Drop by Fancy's market for groceries, fine wines, prepared foods and coffee or head to Crisp, Wimpy’s or other spots for dinner. Or grab your beach gear for a day at the Resident Only Dowses beach, 1.1 miles from the house to the sand. The beach offers clean comfort station, soft sand, gentle warm waters of Nantucket Sound,

For vacation needs there’s local grocery (stop and shop) and more expansive shopping centers (Cape Cod Mall, Mashpee Commons) all within a 10 -20 minute drive.

Travel 6 miles down the road to the Hyannis terminal and hop the ferry for a day trip to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard.

This unique ranch style home is very comfortable with over 1500 square feet. Three bedrooms are privately tucked away from the main living areas. One king bed, one queen and the third bedroom has two twin beds. Additionally we offer (2) roll out cots. There are two full baths and the house is cooled by central air. There are two living areas equipped with TV/cable and lightning-fast internet to satisfy the whole vacation party.

The backyard is beautifully landscaped with natural barriers for extra privacy. Guests can rinse off with the outdoor shower or relax on the back deck for some grilling in the private backyard. We’ve accommodated the place with all the comforts of home. We are happy to accommodate any additional requests ( within reason) to make your stay more enjoyable.

Osterville is easily accessible only ~20 miles over the Bourne or Sagamore bridges or fly by CapeAir into Barnstable airport (6 miles from the house). Guests will enjoy their own private smart key access to the home.

Great stay.

The house was exactly as advertised: extra clean, perfectly decorated and well stocked. Linens and towels were provided which is a major plus having had to pack my own in the past. Landlord was easy to reach and attentive. Had an issue with an appliance and a repair tech was out the next day. We had terrible weather this year and it was not a hardship to hang out in the house. It was convenient to beaches as advertised as well as close to Hyannis where we like the downtown. Will be adding grandchildren to next years' trip, so it may be a bit snug for us with 6 adults and new babies, otherwise, I would gladly stay here again.

Quiet and comfortable...

The house was perfect for us and the family room was a great place to relax after a full day. Very clean and comfortable. Denise, the owner, was extremely helpful and responsive.

Perfectly appointed

We had a wonderful time at the Cape staying at this home. It was located in a great neighborhood (my husband and I would go for walk in a couple of times). Enough room for our family with two living areas. Everything you needed for the beach was there. Good jumping off point to visit other towns on the Cape. Denis was very responsive with any questions we had.

Nice getaway on the cape

The house is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood on mid-cape making it easy to get to many attractions. The house is very clean and organized, and seems recently renovated. The house has plenty of amenities, especially the outdoor furniture, the new grill and outdoor shower make it a very relaxed stay to enjoy the summer. It's also very nice that the host provides a beach pass for several local beaches, and our favorite is Dowses beach, which is a resident-only beach and was not crowded. The host, Denise, is very responsive and organized, providing lots of info about the house and the area; easy self check-in and check-out. Overall, we were glad that we chose this house for our vacation on the cape.

Why they chose this property

The home is incredibly comfortable and peaceful. Set up from the street surrounded by a natural garden of native trees and Rhododendrons, it is the perfect escape. Also as 99% of the house is one level (except for laundry) making the layout ideal to keep track of kids and help the older family members feel a part of everything.

One additional perk is that the sleeping areas are located in a separate wing of the ranch style home, allowing for privacy or quiet if there are some night owls in the group.

For the early risers, like myself, you can take a nice walk to the beach for sunrise and hit up Fancy's for some coffee on the walk back.
