Eclectic Bungalow in the Heart of the City

Hosted personally by owners who live 10 minutes away. Blocks from city center, restaurants & night life, this cheerful, turn of the century bungalow is a great home base for your adventures in the Black Hills! One level living with laundry room in the back room. Contactless checkin with door code provided before checkin.

Our classic 1-story brick home built in 1904 boasts original craftsmanship, but has been recently renovated with modern amenities. We love this unique space and the history & stories it must have to tell within its walls.

This designated vacation rental is equipped with everything you need, along with a community cabinet with some cooking essentials if you choose to use shared items. New stainless appliances, gas range stove, full size laundry, and all new linens on new memory foam mattresses. Large smart TV to stream favorite programs along with a plethora of local channels will satisfy down time.

As locals of the Black Hills, we are delighted to share our favorite things to experience, depending on your interests. We have a long history of serving guests in the hospitality industry and have loved branching out in this new industry! We are always available if you need anything :)

Great location and nice house

The house was centrally located to many places we visited. It was also close to downtown Rapid City so we could walk to dinner and shops. It was a comfortable house for us (two couples) and we enjoyed staying there.

Beautiful Bungalow

My stay was fantastic! Loved the layout, space, and proximity to downtown. I was traveling for work, and this was much more comfortable than staying in a hotel room.

We were very happy with this house! It felt like home and had everything we needed even though we were in and out a lot! The location was perfect for all of our wandering! Loved it and if we return to the area, we would want to stay here again! The beds were great too!

Great cozy house

South Dakota never disappoints. We were there the week before Sturgis Rally, decided to VRBO instead of taking our motor home. Great place to stay. Clean and close to everything in Rapid City.

Great stay

The host was very responsive and helpful. It is within walking distance to a number of restaurants and businesses. You could also hear the church bells which I thought were very soothing. It was a fairly quiet neiborhood. We would certainly stay here again and recommend to our friends.

Amazing property

Great place to stay to be close to downtown. About 30minutes from Mt. Rushmore and other attractions. Which is what we wanted, peace and quiet after a busy day. Seems like an area of city starting to rehab. Very cute house and comfortable beds.

Great place!

The pictures of this property tell the truth. Decorated very nice. My oldest daughter has decided she wants a bungalow for herself someday! Comfortable beds, quiet location within walking distance to downtown, nice backyard, lots of hot water, games to enjoy a day in, some bunnies in the front yard, and a kitchen with all the basic cooking equipment. Our family of five enjoyed our stay here. Perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. Great hosts, very responsive to messages.

Location couldn’t be better!

This property was clean, cute and has a great backyard that me and my 7-year-old son enjoyed! The kitchen is well-equipped, the bathrooms were well-stocked and the pullout sofa bed (with plush mattress topper) was super easy to use and comfortable enough that I slept on it with my son for 3 consecutive nights and got good rest. My mother stayed in one room and our elderly family friend stayed in the other and both enjoyed their spaces. We visited Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Jewel Cave National Monument, Chapel in the Hills, and a few downtown restaurants and this location was perfect!!!

Tai was super easy to communicate with!! Beds are super comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, and the location was perfect for all the surrounding cities we wanted to see. Bathrooms were also stocked and lots of amenities. We would 100% return and stay here again!

My husband and I have been in the hospitality industry over 40 years combined. We have worked in motels, hotels, private properties, and multiple catering services, serving guests of all stature and in all different ways, both nationally and internationally. We love the industry and learning how to provide the best experience. We love bringing these old homes back to life and take pride in doing the renovation and decorating all on our own :)

In the heart of downtown Rapid City, you can walk to Main Street Square events, like Movie Under the Stars, Weekly Concerts, and events or dine on the rooftop of the historical Alex Johnson while enjoying a sunset. Head straight out of town and be at Mount Rushmore in 20 minutes or enjoy a day exploring Keystone. This is a great central location to many Black Hills activities!
