Enjoy the peacefulness at this newly renovated condo of El Cortez on Mustang Island, just three miles south of Port Aransas You will love the open floor plan, spacious living room and bedrooms with ocean life décor carried throughout. Cable and Wi-Fi are available on all TVs. Gather everyone in the living room to watch a movie on the large TV while lounging on the modern couch or matching chair with plush pillows. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare meals such as sleek & spacious countertops, stainless steel appliances, a Keurig coffee maker, dishes, basic pots, pans and utensils. Enjoy meals at the dining table with seating for four and additional seating for four at the breakfast bar. Take your coffee out to the patio to sip in the ocean breeze. The master bedroom (BR1) consists of a Queen bed, a bench at the foot of the bed, nightstands, a chest, a closet, a chair, and TV. The ensuite bathroom holds a vanity, tub/shower and full-size washer/dryer for your use during your stay. This bedroom also has access to a private patio. The guest bedroom (BR2) is made up of a Queen bed, nightstands, dresser, closet and TV. The ensuite bathroom contains a vanity and tiled shower. Use the golf cart accessible boardwalk to spend a day at the beach. Cool off in the shared pool or sit under the covered area with shared charcoal grills for cooking up the day's catch. El Cortez is just five minutes from Port Aransas offering a variety of restaurants, shops, nightlife and fishing charters.

Great condo for a quick trip

Very nice condo. Great location!

The location was fantastic, condo very comfortable. Only negative, it is very difficult to find the property, no signage. We had to call the manager to get us directions.

Quick Birthday Trip

Had a great time with a cut condo with Boardwalk. Perfect size for my husband and I and daughter with 2 friends. The decor was cute and simple. Beds are not comfortable and need to be upgraded. Rented a golf cart and used on beach and around property. Overall, had a great time!

We have stayed at many beach rentals and this was BY FAR the best. The rental was clean, well furnished, and stocked with everything we needed. I was impressed by the amount of kitchen items available for use and appreciated the stock of consumables such as dishwasher tablets, paper towels, garbage bags, toilet paper. For the kiddos, there were cots with sleeping pads and the master closet was big enough for a pack n’ play! 10/10 would recommend and am looking forward to staying here again.

Great property and location!

Beautiful remodel next to Cinnamon shores without the high price. Great house, perfect size, but a few minor complaints. The beds are too squeaky and average comfort. We couldn’t get the bedroom tv to work. Some basic supplies were missing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and with the price, would definitely stay here again.

Nice but with a problem

There were beer cans and beer bottles left on the back patio--housekeeping needs to check that area. There was a major problem with the bed side tables in the back bedroom. THey each had three electrical cords extending from them so you could plug multiple devices in. THey didn't work. Management came out the first night to check on them. Then electrician came the next day. The units didn't work. Electrician said the units were fried.Fortunately we brought a long cord for my husbands CPAP machine because it had to be plugged into the bathroom. Frustrating.....

Decent property overall

Overall not a bad stay here, but the property has room for improvement. First off, bugs are a problem at this unit. We were constantly finding mosquitos, spiders, flies, gnats, even a roach one night, during our stay. We were very careful about not leaving any doors open or garbage out, so not sure where they were getting in from, but it wasn’t pleasant. Second, harsh lights all throughout the unit, with no lamps in the living room, and lamps that didn’t work in the bedroom. The beds, like other reviews have mentioned, are loud and not the most comfortable, and the pillows provided are small and not adequate. The bedrooms would really benefit from having curtains. The plumbing is showing its age - showers back up and the kitchen sink was leaking in the cupboard underneath. No beach amenities in this unit at all. Would be nice if chairs were at least provided. Compared to other beach rentals I’ve stayed at, this one is much more on the basic end and is noticeably lacking in amenities. We appreciated the pool being close by and how quiet the property was though.
