Sausalito stay

The owners have provided guests with a very comfortable, clean living space necessary for a month long stay in a rental property. Good quality furniture, bedding, towels and kitchen equipment. Of course the ever changing view of the city is amazing! We would definitely stay there again.

The best view in Sausalito

Just spend a month at the property and was thrilled with the location, the parking, a wonderful bed and an overall nice experience. Wait til you see the panoramic view in person! Wow

Location, location, location

On arrival the accommodations were super clean. The view of the city is mesmerizing, sunrises spectacular. Easy walk to GG Market for groceries, wine, etc. Walked to Sausalito Bakery in the morning for coffee and pastry. Across the street is a park with tennis basketball and pickleball courts. We will be back!!

Sweet, Comfy, Well Appointed

We fully enjoyed our month stay in this apartment with fabulous views of the bay. The kitchen was perfect, with the basic tools and contemporary appliances. The king bed was most comfortable. The gas heater worked perfectly. As it was unusually cold and windy, we didn't take advantage of it ourselves, but our dachshund learned quickly to use the outside space, but just at the corner is a wonderful grass neighborhood dog park. We always found street parking. The neighborhood is quiet, and driving to town was quick. Our hosts were easy to contact and always responded promptly. The only thing I missed was a set of binoculars to watch the pelicans, sailboats, kayakers, and ships come and go along the bay.

This Vrbo listing was perfect. Everything you would need was provided. Excellent location. Easy walk to trails, shoreline and resturants. The views of San Francisco and the bay were awesome! I would return in a heartbeat...

Joe and Geraldine Walsh have been active in the Marin County community since 1965. For 30 years, Joe and Geraldine were the publishers and co-owners of the "Classified Gazette". The Gazette served 13 Bay Area Counties and was named the San Rafael "Business of the Year". During those 30 years, Joe served as president of the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce, Board Chair of the Ecumenical Affordable Housing Association, board member of the Marin Symphony and the Marin Heart Association. He continues to serve on two Affordable Housing boards and is recognized as a local authority in that field. He is a recipient of the Martin Luther King,Jr Humanitarian Award.

Joe is a former Naval Aviator Officer, having served aboard the Naval Carrier "U.S.S. Constellation" from 1961-1965. During his career, Joe made 314 carrier landings and retired as a Lieutenant Commander.
Geraldine & Joe raised three sons and now have four grandchildren. They have lived in the same home in Lagunitas, West Marin since April, 1971. In 2020, they celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary.
The Walshes purchased their Sausalito home in 1989 as a future retirement dream. They were entranced with Sausalito, with the North St neighborhood and the stunning views from the home. Due to a fire, the house was completely rebuilt in 2004 according to Sausalito City codes including state-of-the-art foundation seismic upgrades and interior fire safety installations.
Joe and Geraldine look forward to hosting you in their recently designer renovated North St, Sausalito home.
