Perfect location

Lovely spacious condo directly on the Gulf of Mexico, gorgeous sugar sand. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub as well as the outdoor pool. Can’t wait to come back!

Great property and value

We were very please with the property. It had everything we needed. We were preparing some food for thanksgiving so having a stocked kitchen was important. We enjoyed the heated pool and tennis court as well while there.

The view of the ocean was absolutely beautiful! The condo was very clean and easy to access. Security on duty at all times made it feel very safe. And the security guards were all super friendly! Access to the beach was perfect!

Very good stay

Good stay, beautiful property. There wasn’t any bedding for the pullout couch, no broom to sweep, there was a bag of chips spilled under our bed and food left in cabinet when we arrived and the extra parking pass situation was confusing. Other than those minor issues we would stay again.

Great stay, just no drier

The property was nice and clean. Location was great. Only issue was our drier didn’t work. I notified management on Monday morning . The tech showed up at 8:00 PM on Wednesday. We had no drier and the delayed response/service was irritating.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We definitely enjoyed the orange beach area and will come back. The rental was exactly as advertised. The very disappointing part was the building was under construction and Jack hammers started at 8:00 am in the morning which is not exactly what you want to wake up to while on vacation. The Jack hammering continued all day until after 5:00 pm. The noise was so loud that you could not even enjoy sitting out side by the pool. When contacting liquid life regarding the construction issues we were told they were not aware of the construction and they had no other rental unit they could move us to. I find that unexceptionable considering liquid life had contacted me telling me that my original rental was having construction done to it and sent me several other units they could move us to . We then chose Pelican pointe NOT being told that that building was under construction. To me there was no real effort to resolve our issue

Great location

The location is just about perfect. Very nice balcony on the 7th floor that is large enough for a table that seats 6 easily plus 2 lounge chairs. Perfect spot for eating and relaxing outside with a great gulf view! The condo itself was pretty much like the pictures/other reviews state. A little dated, but very functional. Beds were nice. The primary bedroom has access to the balcony. The other two bedrooms are interior and have windows out to the walkway, which was a little strange at first, but it is a very quiet complex so didn't end up being a problem. The kitchen is well stocked with what you'll need, though might be different standards of quality than what you are used to at home. Having a washer/dryer in unit was beneficial, but bring your own detergent if you plan on using it (same as the dishwasher...they only give you enough for one load). Security guards were very nice and helpful. They are definitely the face of the complex as you don't see anyone else. Beach access was great. It was too cold to try the outdoor pools. The indoor pool was nice, but small. It got crowded fast. Our stay there was also Spring Break for some college kids, and there were a few at the complex. Only became a bit of an issue at the indoor pool where they had their music and were drinking and splashing. As the indoor pool is small, that made it a bit difficult for our young kids so we left earlier than we would've liked.

Orange Beach 2023

What an awesome vacation with my husband and children! We all had a great time!! The condo was very clean, minus a couple things that I found. There was a dirty wash cloth hanging on the shower curtain in the master bathroom. I think it was overlooked by the cleaning crew considering the shower curtain and wash cloth were both white. Then later in the week, I found a T-shirt behind the couch from a previous guest. But most importantly~toilets, floors, showers, bedding, towels, all so clean!! I do believe the pillows on the master bed could be replaced as they’re very flat and not comfortable. We were so tired at night from enjoying the beach, it really didn’t matter at that point. We did get a notification on Saturday on our way down that a toilet wasn’t working and wasn’t able to be fixed until Monday. It was fixed, but with six of us in the condo, it was a bit chaotic. As we made it work because that’s how we roll. When at the pool, our kids(23, 22, 18, & 16) were asked by security to turn their music off as it was playing at a very respectable volume by their chairs. They were told, “no music allowed without headphones.” Considering there were other speakers as well. My favorite things about the condo was that the kitchen was well equipped as I cooked a lot! The patio was amazing as we had coffee every morning. The condos are in a great location, convenient to everything, and a great place on the beach, where we spent most of our time. Overall, awesome vacation!

Place Needs to be Updated

I wish so badly that I could give this place a better rating, but that would be untruthful. My husband entered the place first and he later told me that he immediately knew that I would be disappointed and that was true! The place had an odor and I immediately started coughing once inside. I observed a lot f dust and filth dangling from the AC vent. I complained and they sent someone over to remove the vent cover and scrub/clean it outside of the condo. I appreciated the small gesture. The following day, they sent another person over to replace the filter although the previous guy had stated that it was fine. At that time, I requested a lightbulb to be placed in the over-the-range microwave. The musty/moldy smell continued to bother me during the stay. It was our thirty-fifth anniversary and we tried very hard to not let the experience there dampen our mood. Consequently, we spent more time outside of the unit than what we had anticipated because it was so dreary and outdated. The furniture fabric was coarse and stiff. I took pics of the bedroom floor near the closet because the floor was ripped up and I expected a mouse to come out at any time. The master bath only had a single vanity which was disappointing. Also, the listing showed two lounge chairs on the balcony yet there was only one, so we had to alternate who could enjoy relaxing on the balcony. I have stayed at Gulf Shores/Orange Beach condos many times before, but would never stay at this unit again.
