This home has is in a great location, very comfortable and stocked very well. The kitchen set-up and coffee were exactly what we needed! I would definitely stay here again!
We were in town for a basketball tournament and the house was perfect. Great location and offered everything we needed. Communication was great and checkin/out was easy.
This was a great location for our needs. Our son had back surgery and we had to travel all over Louisville taking the grand kids to school and visiting our son at the hospital. This was central to everywhere we went. Also enjoyed the walks around the neighborhood and went to several parks and places to eat. The host, Eric, was very helpful, including extending our stay. Thanks for everything.
We enjoyed our stay at this property and found the communication from the property manager's good. They were able to help us when we had a date issue, even though there were not obligated to do so. The weather was dreary during our stay, but it was a fine place to be. We could not explore the neighborhood much with the rain, but it served our needs well.
We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped and located in a charming, walkable neighborhood. The property manager was communicative and helpful.
This was a great place to stay. Very well supplied and very clean. The location is outstanding. Everything is close and numerous local restaurants within a mile radius. I highly recommend.
This house was located in a good spot to easily access the Louisville area. It was well stocked with pots and pans and dishes and little amenities like coffee, tea, dishwasher and laundry soft, etc. The place was very clean and cozy. The street parking can be a little tight, but overall this place was great. I would definitely stay there again!
This house was exactly what we were looking for! Clean, get location, and easy check-in and Check- out. The house was close to everything including walking distance to Preston park, resultants, and brewery’s. Quite neighborhood with friendly neighbors! I would definitely recommend to anyone planning a trip to Louisville!
Quaint, cozy, very clean, in an eclectic part of town. Feels like home away from home. Check out the bunnies in the garden behind the house or beer at the brewery around the corner- something for everyone.
Wonderful place, great stay for my partner and me with our two small dogs!
I almost hesitate to share this, as I’d like the place to be available the next time I’m in town, but this is a fabulous rental! Clean, well-appointed kitchen, attractively decorated, comfortable, backyard for our pups, walkable neighborhood, good communication with host, protective neighbors to ensure feeling safe, outdoor space to sit with coffee or a drink, close to Louisville entertainment. We hope to return!
I’ve now utilized this home twice during our trips to Louisville!! It’s less than 10 minutes from KY Fair & Expo & is in an adorable neighborhood. Home is well equipped & very clean!! Parking is limited if You have more than 1 vehicle. Just reserve it!! You’ll be glad You did!!
A very charming house and neighborhood! The little park that is literally right next door was perfect for walking my dogs. Everything in the house was clean and up to date
My partner and I once owned a property just a few blocks from this home. It feels good to go "home" and see the upkeep and vitality of the housing and neighborhood. This property met all our needs with the subtle touches of Louisville and Kentucky flare highlighted for the out of town visitor. The area is safe for walking and surrounded by gardens, parks and food options that negate having to have a car. It is close to downtown and other vital neighborhoods. The spa like amenities in the bath and kitchen made the stay a relaxing one.
Cute little shotgun house in the Germantown neighborhood steps from Emerson Park. The hosts were wonderful, the check-in process was easy, and the house was perfect for my parents and me. Updated interior, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, and very nice neighbors! The location is close to downtown and convenient to most anywhere else you'd like to go via Eastern Parkway. Great value for the money. We'll definitely stay again when we visit family who live nearby.
My family and I had never been to Louisville before so we had no idea what to expect. This cute home in the Schnitzelburg neighborhood of Louisville was perfect. It's basically a quick 10 minute drive to anywhere we needed to go (Downtown, Churchill Downs, Airport, University of Louisville) We met the neighbors right away to ask for food recommendations- they were super nice and directed us to a pizza shop a few blocks away. There, we found a bunch of neat cafes and small restaurants- everything we ate was delicious. The home itself is cozy and charming and the owners did a wonderful job of communicating with us to make sure our stay was just right. If we're ever back in the Louisville area, we will definitely be back!

Nice place but only 1 shower
The house is nice and clean. It is within walking distance of a few restaurants. However, the house is listed as 2br/2ba. The guest bathroom does not have a working shower. It has a sink, toilet, and bathtub only. The shower does not work. I never heard back from the realtor when I emailed about it. Otherwise, the house is nice and is as explained in the listing.

We rented this property for the Bourbon & Beyond music festival. We booked 6 weeks in advance, but felt it was WAY overpriced (plus the booking was completely nonrefundable). Realizing the law of supply/demand, we booked anyway. The best thing about this property is the location. A small home located in a charming neighborhood, it’s close to many activities (festivals, fairgrounds, football, Churchill Downs, airport) and walkable to restaurants and breweries. Communications was a struggle. They asked for a payment to be made off VRBO’s platform which was sketchy. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly neighbor who offered to help with emergencies, which was nice. But I had 3 different names as contacts and was getting duplicate messages through VRBO app/emails/texts (i.e., asking me to let them know when we were arriving, which I’d already done.)Décor is fine, in Louisville themes. We enjoyed the small front porch. Beds were comfortable; kitchen was functional. Bathrooms were clean and seemed recently re-done. Master bath was extra-nice, with a spa shower and heated floors. We had 4 adults staying for 6 nights but the only toilet paper in the house were the rolls already on the dispensers, so we had to ask for more TP (which they promptly delivered). Small things like a stained couch, watered-down hand soap, a TV with no audio (at least, after much fiddling, we couldn’t get it to work), dirty dishwasher, and broken door handle underscored the feeling of overpaying.
Very quiet little neighborhood. Absolutely loved the kitchen. Me, my Dad, partner & dog would definitely stay here again. Host was quick with responding and was really nice and made our stay in his home enjoyable. Thank You, Eric!

What makes this property unique
One of the best features is the location just in front of Emerson Park (and Community Garden). This was the site of a former school house transformed into a community space. We have since given up our plot in the garden but feel free to wander about or sit and enjoy the green space. Many of our neighbors have plots there and it truly brings to life the meaning of community gardening.
