About this property

McCrary Suite-Remedies Inn, downtown historic

The McCrary Suite is named for the McCrary Family Pharmacy that was here prior to 1967. This suite has a kitchenette area, private bath with walk in shower and private bedroom. 12 foot ceilings and three large, bright windows overlooking historic Main Street elevate the space to first class. Walk to the boutique and antique stores.
The space
We named our place Remedies Inn in honor of the many family pharmacies that occupied the space since it’s birth in 1860’s. Soak in the history in your private suite. A king size bed in the private bedroom boasts a tempurpedic mattress with an extra thick mattress cover for comfort, a large antique dresser and a 50” smart TV. WiFi is complimentary. The living area features a kitchenette with fridge, microwave and coffee service, a sleeper sofa with 6" memory foam mattress and a dining style table and chairs. The spacious bathroom features a double vanity and marble floor. Enjoy the walk in shower with provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
Guest access
Guests will be provided with a street door code and the code to their suite. You will enter to the stairwell (no elevator at this time) and arrive at the foyer at the top of the stairs. The door to the McCrary Suite is just to your left at the top of the stairs.
Other things to note
We are pet friendly. We love pets but they require more cleaning, etc. We charge a $30 pet fee per pet for each stay. Please let us know if you’re bring a pet and we will forward a request for the fee through the resolution center or you can bring cash on arrival. Any unpaid pets that show up on our security cameras will be charged a penalty fee. Thanks!

Unique stay in the heart of town!
This is one of the more unique rooms we have stayed in. Loved the decor, and the natural light from the windows. I loved people watching in the morning while having my coffee. Happened to meet the owner while we were exploring the town, and they were really friendly. Would stay here again if we are back in town.

Really Cool Stay!
We loved this stay! It is unique and we loved the history that was apparent in our room. We would definitely recommend this stay, and the quaint shops in the area are definitely worth the visits, and they are all within 2 - 3 blocks. Loved it!

Great room. Walking distance to all downtown has to offer. Friendly people. Great view. The train that comes through town is not that bad. Its the atmosphere of the town.

Historic hotel in quaint downtown
This place is full of history, being housed in an old pharmacy building. High ceilings. Huge space. Beuatiful marble floors and redone bathroom space. Kitchen area and huge couch, with a king-size bed in the main area of the room. Tons of shopping and places to eat in the quaint downtown. One downside--freight train coming through with horns blasting in the middle of the night. Noise machine and ear plugs provided, but not quite enough to block that out.
