Puffin Perch Stay

Great house and location. We enjoyed our stay while visiting family in St George. The house had everything we needed to cook meals. The beds were comfortable and the river view was nice.

Average stay, unfortunately disappointed

The location is very convenient to explore midcoast Maine but that’s the end of the pros. Be aware that the stairs are very steep to the upstairs and the floors throughout the house are very uneven. The house doesn’t have AC, which is ok for Maine, but the location is not quiet as it’s off a main road and the noise from passing cars is a disturbance especially while sleeping. This house is managed by Vacasa and they are not easy to deal with when you have an issue-for which we had several including unclean home (dust and food remnants under the furniture) and a bug infestation which forced us to leave this rental early. Be aware when considering this property.

Great location, clean, delighty

We were very pleased with this property. It was very clean and very well maintained with good quality, newer appliances and fixtures. We enjoyed hiking, seafood restaurants and other activities close by. We would definitely rent this property again!
