No local bookings. We only host out of town guests, no locals. We love our neighbors, but have had too many issues with local guests in the past.

Fantastic stay - Home away from home.
The property was exactly as described on the website . Really nicely decorated, spotlessly clean , with all comforts of being at home. Larger than expected with lots of nice touches like coffee maker , bottled water water , toiletries , cooking spices etc. Laundry appliances allowed us to catch up on a bit of washing along with a fully equipped kitchen which again allowed us the choice to cook a few meals and eat in. Air-conditioning and fans through the property so staying cool in warm weather wasn’t an issue. Quite neighbourhood, with shops , restaurants nearby along with downtown bus and tram stops within a short walk. Although property is adjoined to another , never heard any noise or had any issues neighbours. When we chose to catch an Uber downtown, depending on time of day , fare was as low as $12 . Additionally only 15 minutes from airport. Communication with the host was really easy . always responded quickly to any queries. Gaining entry also really easy , we just followed instructions provided. Overall great stay and great value for money.

Informative Host & Beautiful property
Our stay for 3 nights was great, host gave several recommendations and lots of details before and during our stay. Location felt safe and clean. Just what we were looking for. There is a neighbor right next door but had no complaints - we could barely hear them.

Cute, comfortable, and convenient!
Very easy to get to. Conveniently located in a great neighborhood, close to the streetcar and several very good restaurants. Would definitely stay here again! Host provided a detailed guide with suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing, both in the neighborhood and beyond.

Hey, I'm Devin. I host and manage two short term rental homes in the Mid City neighborhood of New Orleans, both located on the property in which I live. The front of the property has a 1br home and a 2br home immediately next door to each other (both listed on VRBO).

Prior to managing these homes I was the owner of an events based virtual reality business here in New Orleans, but sold the business to renovate my home. Now, outside of the time I spend managing our homes, I coach at a local CrossFit gym and I'm also working on getting a new brand of sun-protective apparel off the ground - Rayward Apparel.

Why they chose this property

This location is AMAZING. Within just a few blocks you have: two giant grocery stores, CVS, some of the most popular bars and restaurants in the city, the Lafitte Greenway which is a bike path that goes directly into the French Quarter, City Park, multiple gyms and fitness centers, the famous Street Car, and bike rentals. You literally never have to drive or Uber/Lyft anywhere if you don't want.

And for big events and festivals, it doesn't get much better. This location is only one block away from the biggest Mardi Gras parade route (Endymion), just a few blocks from City Park which throws a ton of festivals throughout the year including Voodoo Fest, and less than a mile from the Fairgrounds which is home to Jazz Fest and other large events.

Our street is closed at both ends, so the only people that go through are other locals and guests who live on the street making it one of the safest and quietest streets in Mid-City.

What makes this property unique

You can walk or bike just about everywhere. The Lafitte Greenway bike path leads directly to the French quarter so grabbing a bike and heading that way is a fun way to see more of the city. There is a Blue Bike station only about 2 blocks from our house immediately off the greenway where you can grab a pay per minute electric-assist bike to easily ride into the quarter (costs $0.15 per minute of use). If you are looking to drive, Uber and Lyft are both very easy and cheap throughout the city. We also have the streetcar only a block away which is easy to hop on and off anytime.

Security:
To help keep our guests protected, we have a security camera installed on the front porch which records 24/7 video for the protection of our guests. It covers the front porch, front yard, and part of the street.

Parking:
There is free parking immediately in front of the home and throughout our entire neighborhood. If you have a car, parking on our street is very easy and safe.
