About this property

EXCEPTIONAL VIEW of Mt. Ventoux, between the Ardèche Gorges and the Cèze Valley

NEW! CONTINUATION RENOVATION MARCH 2026
OPENING FOR RENTAL FROM JUNE
A panoramic view of Mont-Ventoux to the peaks of the Vercors is the permanent spectacle that can be admired from this quiet house equipped with a private swimming pool, without vis-à-vis.
Salazac is a small medieval village perched at an altitude of 350 m, bordering the beautiful forest of Valbonne (nature zone 2000), in the north-east of the Gard.
Salazac is ideally positioned between the famous Ardèche valley and the charming Cèze valley with its picturesque villages, such as St Martin d'Ardèche, Aiguèze, Aven d'Orgnac, Vallon Pont d'Arc, Goudargues, the Sautadet waterfalls, La Roque sur Cèze, St André de Roquepertuis, Montclus, St Quentin la Poterie, Uzès, Le Pont du Gard, etc...
There is no shortage of sports activities, whether walking, cycling, nautical, equestrian... Or cultural, with a visit to the Chauvet cave in Vallon Pont d'Arc or the caves of Aven d'Orgnac. Or simply strolling for the pleasure of discovering local products in the local markets or restaurants.
The region has all the resources to inspire you with a varied holiday programme according to preferences and for all ages.
In addition, several hiking trails are indicated from the village, a minute's walk from the house. You can walk them, either on foot, by mountain bike, or with the donkeys from the village with the Domaine de la Picholine. Otherwise if you want to stay at home, a ping-pong table is at your disposal. The house has a 7.4 kW charging station with T2S socket.
We will be present, if only for the maintenance of the swimming pool and the watering of the garden, early in the morning to ensure that you can swim as soon as the sun arrives, surrounded by a green setting.
We will occupy the ground floor with independent entrance and parking and on the opposite side so without interference. Being only 2, we remain discreet and will also be often out for sports or other activities but do not hesitate to contact us for any question about the house, we will never be very far :-)
