The cabin is idyllically situated in the Birkebeinerbakken cabin area and offers an impressive view, from Hedmarksvidda in the east to the mighty mountains of Jotunheimen in the west. Stay in the middle of nature and enjoy both peace and quiet and numerous activities all year round. Enjoy your meals with a view and relax in cosy surroundings after a sauna session. The fireplace provides additional cosiness, while sunny days are especially nice with a cup of coffee on the terrace.



In summer, the surrounding area invites you to go hiking and cycling through the beautiful countryside. For the more adventurous, there are activities such as dog sledding, kitesurfing and rafting. Sjusjøen is only a short drive away and offers shops, restaurants, playgrounds and barbecue areas, ideal for families with children. Lillehammer, with its many attractions and activities, including Hunderfossen Family Park, Lilleputthammer, Maihaugen and the Lysgårdsbakken ski jump, is also within easy reach. In the town you can enjoy the beach promenade with cosy restaurants and good shopping opportunities.



Cross-country ski trails start right outside the door of the cabin, giving you access to an extensive network of cross-country ski trails across Ringsaker and Øyerfjell, a true paradise for cross-country skiing fans.



Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate in 2026; guests can rent them at the property for an additional charge of NOK 200.00 per person, or bring their own. Consumption costs are not included in the room rate and will be charged according to guest use within three weeks after check-out.
