Romantic villa with a fantastic view of Lake Garda
The Italian villa, built in the 1960s in very good condition, is situated on a beautiful hillside in a large, well-kept garden just above Lake Garda. From the living room, the master bedroom and the large balcony you have a magnificent view over the lake. This extends in a northern direction to Monte Baldo and in a southern direction far beyond the Isola del Garda and Sirmione.
The house is divided into two living areas. The main apartment is on the first floor and the separate apartment on the ground floor. The main apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with toilet, the newly furnished spacious kitchen, the spacious living room and the large balcony in front of it. The main apartment is usually designed for up to 5 people. However, another person can easily sleep on the sofa bed in the living room if necessary.
In the granny flat there are 2 further bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 1 large living room. From this living room you can also enjoy a great view of the lake. The granny flat cannot be booked individually, but only optionally with the main apartment. This ensures that you as a guest use the house completely and that your privacy does not interfere with other guests.
The entire equipment / furnishing of the house is, except for the new kitchen, in the style of the 60s and 70s. This also gives the house its typical Italian charm.
On the large terrace at the back of the house, between olive trees and Orleanders, there is a fireplace grill with a large dining area and dining table. Loungers for the terrace are also provided for you there. In addition, an outdoor shower has been installed in this area. A good way to freshen up in hot temperatures.
The pizzeria "Rustichel" and the Ristorante "Belvedere" can be easily reached on foot. From the house to Maderno it takes 20 minutes to walk. It takes less than 10 minutes by car to get to the beautiful beaches of Toscolano Maderno.
Beding, tourist tax and final cleaning (80, - € for the main apartment and 60, - € additionally for shared use of the granny flat) are not included in the offer price and must be paid on the spot.

Villa was so beautiful and nice. The view was AMAZING and location was peaceful and perfect! Marco was great to work with and Mrs. Marini was so nice. We can't wait to go back!
Everything about this property was wonderful. The caretaker is lovely and prompt. There is an excellent restaurant just a few feet away. The view of the lake is breathtaking. Highly recommend this property!
The views from the property are outstanding, we enjoyed our evenings dining overlooking the beautiful view of the lake. The house was just as is pictured and described. We had a fantastic holiday, and was made to feel very welcome.
We had a lovely stay for a week in this lovely house in Maclino. Original features inside and stunning views outside. Easy communication and service by the owners. Highly recommended!
We had a fantastic stay at the villa. I celebrate my birthday and couldn't have choosen a better place. The view from the house is amazing. We went to Sirmione and Venice. I love Italy❤
View unbelievable. Location not the best far away from public transport and not many taxis. Also some surprise fees such as bedding and towels which needed to be paid in cash which was annoying. Shower pressure also wasn’t the best. Also is not all one property, it is broken up into 2 flats.

Hello Isaac,
I am sorry, that you were not satisfied with some points. But there are some points, which were already clear when booking. You could have seen the location on google maps. That was not a surprise.
And it is clearly described in the advertisement, that the house is devided into a main residence and a granny flat. And it is also described, that additional costs must be paid on site.
And we send before the start of vacation to all our guest (also to you) an information sheet for contact on site, how to check in and .... Here it is described, that we do not offer towels to our guests. So, that should not have been a big surprise for you ...
.
The house is lovely and very clean and spacious. The view down to the lake and town is gorgeous at any time of day. Marco the host and Mrs Manini the caretaker were very helpful in answering our questions and taking care of our needs. However, Mrs Manini only speaks Italian and German and I had to try and communicate in my "pidgin" italian. One thing that could be improved in the house is better lighting for rainy days when you just need to stay at the house and read a book. You also need a car unless you are really fit and can manage the very steep 30 minute walk into town. I could do it but my partner who is 90 couldn't so we had to regularly book the only taxi in town to take us to the ferry terminal. Once there, we were able to visit the many beautiful villages around the lake and do some shopping in one of the two supermarkets in Maderno before returning back to the house by taxi. Being ftom Australia, old, and not wanting the hassle of moving to other places in Italy, we booked for a month. It went in a flash and the whole experience was magical. Thank uou Marco
Also herrlicher Ausblick mit Sonneaufgang.
