The Shell at Ocean Palms Retreat is a beautifully renovated 1 bedroom, 1 bath 1st floor apartment located mid island in a tranquil neighborhood. Two blocks to the beach mid way between two beach access points. Hotel style linens and towels to complement our plush pillow top mattress.

Canal views from the windows. Manatee, dolphin and palm trees galore from your unit. Fully equipped kitchens with a Keurig Coffee Machine, additional seating for guests, high speed internet, WiFi, and streaming smart TV!

Mid-Island white sugar sand beaches are the cleanest on the island. The shells in your unit were collected by us, locally on the beaches you will visit.

Estero Island has numerous restaurants and night life for your choosing, and you are in the middle of it all location-wise. Water activities abound, with fishing charters, scuba and snorkel adventures, jet ski rentals, parasailing and other close by things to do.

Fort Myers, Bonita Springs and Naples are all modern cities with plenty of shopping, dining and sightseeing to experience. The South West International Airport in Fort Myers is close by for convenience as well.

Pet friendly restrictions and fees apply. Dogs are permitted up to 25 lbs and non-aggressive breeds only with pet fee paid in advance. Pets restricted to dogs only, no other pets allowed and penalties enforced. Excess cleaning charges may apply. Dogs must be leashed when outdoors, must be cleaned up after and can't be walked on anyone else's property.

Parking is limited to two vehicles per unit and only park in front of the building.

The rental was just the right size, clean comfy, cool and cozy. A short walk to the beach for rest and relaxation. Grocery store and beach shops close by to get necessary needs. Great location highly recommend!

Nice and peaceful oasis!

Our rental was clean and quiet. Enjoyed our stay while in Fort Myers Beach. Correspondence with property owner was quick and courteous! They only suggestion I have in regards to kitchen supplies is that it includes a gallon pitcher.

Overall this was a great condo! I wasn't used to the typical Florida tropical insects admittedly (so be mindful when you're outside!), but overall the condo was roomy, had all the amenities you would need, and was less than a 5 minute walk from the beach. Hope you enjoy your stay too

Easy stay

We booked last minute and had a wonderful stay. It was very clean, had an easy check in and check out process, fabulous updated shower. Some things that would make it even better…hooks in the bathroom for wet towels, open shelf in the kitchen for food storage, tv in bedroom and an extra set of pillows in the closet for the hide-a-bed.

Updated, clean, cozy and close to beach

This property is updated and clean. It is small but nice. The shower (ahh) is the best! The location is perfect because it is mid island and it is back off the main road so it is quiet. Even though we brought our own beach chairs, they have beach chairs, umbrellas and a wagon to carry things to the beach if needed. It is within walking distance of shops and restaurants and there is a tram to ride to Times Square if you do not want to walk the 3 or so miles. We thoughly enjoyed our time!

Wonderful vacation spot but horrible traffic!

We loved the location but were unable to see anything unless we walked. The traffic was so bad that we only ate at one place on Estero Blvd that we could walk to. The weather was perfect and this unit was a 5 minute walk to the beach which was great! Would have loved a TV in the bedroom and a functioning ice machine in the freezer. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.
