Went to a Women in Leadership Conference in Butte, and chose to stay here with 6 co-workers. The place is exactly like the pictures. Very cute, historic, and a great place for a larger group, we felt spoiled to be able to stay here. The beds are comfy, and the entire place was clean from the living space to the bathrooms. It was a great place to enjoy each other's company. We would definitely come here again. In the winter, the parking gets a little tricky, but it's Montana, and should be expected anywhere you go in the winter.
We celebrated my daughter’s graduation from Montana Tech last weekend and this place worked perfectly. We brought a ton of food and the serving area made for perfect serving line. We had around 25 people during the afternoon and the large area made mingling and visiting easy. We had 9 people stay over Friday, which required some bathroom rationing in the morning, but no other issues. Beds were super comfy as were the couches. Location made loading stuff in easy as there are only a few stairs to navigate, great for my older parents. Also the location made walking to bars around uptown convenient. I had no idea how big a hit the ping pong table was going to be with the younger crowd, made for some great entertainment. Only con I heard was from the ladies about the lack of a body length mirror who were hoping to have one when get ready in the morning. Communication with Jeff was great and he let us in a little early as soon as it was ready. All in all, this place was excellent and made for a great weekend!
Overall very happy with the stay. It was warm with no air conditioning, but there were fans available. Kids loved the ping pong table and karaoke machine!
Awesome location. Big enough for a big group. Just hot cause of being july. Need more fans.

Good stay (though misleading property details)
We had a fun stay at the Butte house.
Pros:
* Very fun large room
* Kid friendly
* Able to accomodate a large group
* Close to various Butte fun
Cons:
* No A/C even though the property description said it was available. Thankfully, it was not too hot in Butte during our stay.
* The door code didn't work when we arrived and we had to talk with Jeff to get a replacement code
We were in town for a family celebration. We had 6 adults. The space worked perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and appliances. The central room is spacious and the ping pong table was fun! Bedrooms worked well though we had an adult in the bunk bed room. Bathrooms were functional. Location is perfect. Check in process was easy! The history was a fun extra.
This was a very fun place to stay but I do wish the listing stated that this is in the basement of the church. That being said, it has tall ceilings and plenty of natural light (however all the window are privacy glass so you cant see out) but i wish i was aware of this before. Beautiful place and well stocked kitchen, lots of games/toys/books, comfortable beds but personally i would stay somewhere that had a view of the beautiful city next time, but thats just me :) friendly prompt hosts
Rocky start. Not the owners fault, the hired man's dog made a mess. this was corrected quickly.
We loved the building, comfortable beds, plenty of entertainment. Very historic.
I dropped an earring in the heat vent. Jeff was quick to retrieve it for me!
We cooked 2 turkeys and all the sides, slept 10 for 5 nights - it was great! Kitchen was fully loaded, made cooking easy. Lots of space to give everyone room and the ping pong table was well played. I would highly recommend it.
A handful of colleagues came to Butte for meetings, and this was a great space to meet up, eat shared meals, and wish we had time for pingpong. Quieter sleeping than anticipated, given the reviews— definitely didn't need the sound machines! We slept well. Kitchen is well stocked with pots/untensils/etc. Welcome book offered lots of information on how to enjoy Butte. Would definitely stay here again.
Had a wonderful 60th birthday party here. Lots of space and activities for little ones and adults. Ping pong and karaoke were a huge hit. Was nice to stay where the party was and for out of town guests. Would rent this again. A little gem
It was a perfect place and space to get together and hang out with girl friends.
We enjoyed the history of Butte, and the location was walking distance to everything!
We will be back!!

I love to travel, especially with our family of five...Between them and a couple businesses, I stay pretty busy. Usually found with a smile on my face, a ball of some sort in my hands, and my kids in tow. I am a pretty easy going guy, thanks for looking!
Why they chose this property
Build in 1906, this old Baptist Church has been transformed as an short stay vacation home. It was such a fun project to be a part of! We used almost all original materials to redo the space and now the building that was slowly dying from disrepair, has new life!
