Perfectly located home on canal close to charter boat trips, shopping, & more!

The best of Destin awaits with a stay at this perfectly located getaway boasting canal access! With a place to tie up the boat, this will make for a perfect home base for a fishing trip or family vacation. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the appliances of home and can seat eight comfortably to enjoy a bite to eat after a long day in the sun. Sipping a cocktail at sunset will be a dream come true on the large deck that overlooks the canal. Not to mention, it's a perfect location to have a cookout and enjoy the Thursday fireworks on the harbor! There are two boat tie-ups that are directly behind the house with easy access to jump on and go for a ride in the beautiful emerald waters of Destin. The boat slips pictured are not available for use, but the tie-ups on the outside of the slips can be used. Split into two floors, this home has plenty of room for privacy. The first floor offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms including a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. On the second floor, you will find two more bedrooms, a full bath, and a large living room.

This house is centrally located in the heart of Destin on Holiday Isle, the peninsula of sugar-white sands to the south of the Destin Harbor area. A few of the area's attractions include a view of the bay and the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants featuring the succulent seafood of this coastal region. Plus, the close proximity to the harbor and marina means that deep-sea fishing and boating charters are mere minutes away. If the kiddos have come along, they will surely want to have a full day of fun at Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park, just two miles away.

Family’s hang out

Only one complaint is parking, it’s limited on the parking even we parked on our property, we weren’t allowed to park over 3 cars even plenty space to park in front the property. Beside that everything is good,

Boating in Destin

The property met all our needs and room to spare. Loved the location, spaciousness, and boat dock. A few more rolls of paper products would have been nice. Sure wished we could have used the empty boat slip.

Needs Updating

The back porch/deck wasn't very sturdy, some of the rails was loose. Needs some updating and painting on the inside. The living room area was nice. Kitchen appliances needs updated. Didn't have enough trash bags for the kitchen/ only 2 was provided. I guess all in all it served its purpose, I thought it was a nicer place than it was advertised.

I Hope It is Better Next Time

House is Beautiful. Big house. Perfect place for our boat. Inside of Destin Harbor. 5 minutes from Crab Island or the Gulf. Depends on where you want to go. However… the floors were filthy. Food left in the fridge. Sand in our sheets and these tiny little black ant looking bugs. I called the host on our way home. He seemed pacifying and aloof. Hopefully it will be better for the next guests. It was a beautiful home. Excellent location!!
