Furadouro is a small community south of Porto. Cafe's, restaurants and shopping facilities are 200 meters away. Very good local fish restaurants are recommended! Porto is 20 minutes away by car and about 35min by train from the ovary. A bus leaves every hour to the station in the next place ovary. Porto's World Heritage site, with its sights and the Centre of Port wine making a unique sightseeing experience.
Aveiro, the "Portuguese Venice ', is 30 minutes away by car and can be reached directly by train from the ovary.
