Christmas Vacation

The house was perfect for our family with young kids! It was such a cute house for a winter trip. Our host was very quick to respond and accommodating. Definitely want to come back next year!

Wonderful fall reunion

A perfect home for a fall family reunion. We prepared most meals in the well-stocked kitchen and spent hours around the fireplace when we weren’t walking the trails around Eagle Ridge or exploring downtown Galena. Hailey couldn’t have been a nicer or more responsive host — we’ll stay here again!

Born and raised in Jo Daviess county, Galena country will always be my home. I have enjoyed years of travel around the world and am delighted to share the beauty and serenity of the Driftless region with guests. As a parent to small children I have worked to create a family friendly retreat. I look forward to hosting your group and am happy to offer ideas and suggestions for unique activities in and around Galena!

This is NOT a townhome with any attached property. The entire house and property will be yours during your stay! It is located on one acre.

What makes this property unique

Guests will enjoy 4 complimentary guest passes to access all the amenities at the Galena Territory Association Owners Club. This includes the indoor / outdoor pool as well as game room, gym and fitness center.

Lake Galena is an easy .5 mile walk down the adjacent Taylor Run trail.
No need to drive!
At the Marina you will be able to rent a kayak or canoe and enjoy a picnic on the lake! (picnic back packs included with your stay but rentals’ are at guests’ cost)

The first pet is included in your stay - for a second pet there is a non refundable $50 pet fee. Sorry only 2 dogs max.
