Along the canal, this carefully renovated barn is the ideal starting point for walks and bouldering in the Fontainebleau forest, swimming and relaxing along the Loing River, cultural activities (Rosa Bonheur Museum, Fontainebleau Castle, etc.) and, of course, horseback riding. The barn is attached to a farmhouse; we live and work here. The entrance is shared by two dwellings. The garden (700m²) invites relaxation, and a bamboo grove offers a change of scenery. The garden is fully enclosed, and the bamboo grove provides a view of the Loing Canal. On the terrace, armchairs are set up facing the garden for enjoying an aperitif, and meals can be eaten at the large wooden table. The accommodation: The main room, the large living room, has a very high ceiling (over 7m) and a large bay window overlooking the garden, as does the adjoining kitchen where breakfast can be enjoyed. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, two coffee makers (one Nespresso), kettle, toaster, dishwasher, and washing machine. Upstairs, bedrooms 1 and 2 are spacious, with bedroom 2 having air conditioning; bedroom 3 is smaller. On the ground floor, there is a small additional shower room with... WC. In winter, the heating is electric and the living room has a pellet stove. Guest access: The mezzanine is not accessible; it is my workshop, and I leave all my equipment there during rentals. The courtyard is shared between the two houses: parties and festive weekends are therefore strictly prohibited. Other remarks: The village has an excellent bakery within walking distance, a small supermarket, and a pharmacy. Bourron Marlotte train station is 3 km away and provides service to Paris in 1 hour.
