A spacious and bright house, right in the heart of the village of Merlerault. Sheltered from prying eyes and noise by two large gardens enclosed by walls and hedges. Four bedrooms, including a 30-square-meter master suite. Two bathrooms. A very bright living room with a large table that seats up to 10 people, perfect for entertaining or hosting a workshop. The house is located in the village centre with all amenities: supermarket, bistro, bank, doctor, hair salon, auto repair shop...

To enjoy a cosy time this fall and winter, firewood is available near the wood-burning stove. Additional firewood can be provided for a flat fee of 15€ per refill of the wood bin.

We provide sheets and bath linens (one bath towel, one hand towel, and one flannel per guest).

One hour from Deauville-Trouville, Honfleur, and the beaches. 30 minutes from Mortagne-au-Perche, 10 km from the Haras National du Pin... Things to do in the area: - The Orne, the land of horses and its stud farms, including the Haras National du Pin, where training for the 2024 Olympics took place. The “Versailles of the horse.” Daily tours and equestrian shows; “Les Petits Pins” workshop for young children to discover horseback riding in a magical setting. - Center-Parcs Normandie Les Bois-Francs, day passes available, 40 minutes away; - The Cap’Orne Aquatic Centre, 20 minutes by car in L’Aigle (swimming pool, water slide); - Saint-Evroult Notre Dame du Bois Recreation Centre: open daily in July and August; - “Le Tahiti” cinema in Gacé—a beautiful, fully renovated, and very comfortable theatre—and Le Rex cinema in Sées, an arthouse cinema; both are a 10-minute drive away; - Sées Cathedral, 10 km away; - Soligny-la-Trappe, 20 minutes away: Notre-Dame de La Trappe Abbey (1140) and its fruit jams; - The Fernand Léger–André Mare Museum, located in Fernand Léger’s childhood home in city centre Argentan; - The Coudehard-Montormel Memorial (site of the last battle in Normandy), 25 minutes away by car.
