The apartment is located in Weinheim district "Weinheim-West". This is the largest district of Weinheim. He st traffic technically very well developed. So you are fast by car in Viernheim (3 minutes), Mannheim (about 10 minutes) and Heidelberg (about 15 minutes).
There are many single-family and terraced houses, but also skyscrapers and smaller industrial companies (not noticeable from the apartment). You will find all shops for daily needs. On foot you need about 30 minutes to the old town.

Since it is an attic apartment, it can be very warm in the summer there.

Solide ruhige Dachgeschoss-Ferienwohnung

Weinheim und Umgebung sind definitiv eine Reise wert. Diese Ferienwohnung eignet sich hervorragend für max. vier Personen, um dort für etwa eine Woche zu verweilen. Die Wohnung ist einfach ausgestattet, die Möbel wirken etwas aussortiert. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, es gibt eine Pantry und ein Duschbad. Für große Leute sind die Schrägen dieses ca. 40° geneigten Daches mitunter etwas mühsam, allerdings wurde darauf geachtet, dass -wo immer Stehhöhe erforderlich ist- Dachfenster angeordnet worden sind. Die Wohnung ist so auch sehr hell und freundlich. Typisch für Dachausbauten ist die geringe Speichermasse, d.h. Fenster auf und es wird kalt, nach kurzer Zeit des Heizens werden die Räume dann schnell etwas zu warm. Deckenpaneelen und Laminat mit Holzoptik sind nicht mein Geschmack, aber die Wohnung bietet alles, was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigt. Außerdem findet man vor der Tür jederzeit einen Parkplatz. Richtig super ist die Verkehrsanbindung: Sowohl mit dem Auto als auch mit den öffentlichen Nahverkehr kann man sich hier fortbewegen. Ein Taxi aus der Innenstadt kann man sich ebenfalls leisten. Besonders wichtig: Die Vermieter sind sehr sympathische Leute, die vor Ort wohnen. Der Hauptzugang wird über ein Codeschloss ermöglicht, was sogar die späte Anreise problemlos ermöglicht. Also: wenn man nicht gerade auf Designermöbel steht und zwei Meter groß ist, kriegt man für sein Geld eine solide ruhige Dachgeschoss-Wohnung inmitten eines Weinheimer Wohngebiets.

Plezierige vakantiewoning met kanttekeningen

De woning was licht en fris. Bij de on line informatie stond niet vermeld dat we 2 trappen moesten beklimmen om de woning te bereiken. Gezien onze leeftijd viel dat niet mee. We misten o.a. informatie over Weinheim en omgeving. Een lijstje met adressen en telefoonnummers van arts, tandarts, politie e.d. ontbrak ook.

Sauber und ordentlich

Wir haben das vergangene Wochenende (02. - 04.08.2019) aufgrund der AnimagiC in Mannheim in dieser Ferienwohnung verbracht und waren im Endeffekt nur abends zum Schlafen dort. In Weinheim angekommen, stellte ich fest, dass die Suche nach der konkreten Adresse eine kleine Herausforderung darstellte. Ansonsten war aber alles in Ordnung. Den PIN Code für die Haustür hatte ich mir ein paar Tage zuvor per E-Mail direkt beim Anbieter der Ferienwohnung angefordert. Die Ferienwohnung verfügte über 4 Betten, jeweils einen Ventilator pro Schlafzimmer, ein kleines aber schönes Badezimmer damit einem Handtuch für jede Person, eine Küche mit Toaster und einen kleinen Fernseher. Auch wenn für uns eher nebensächlich, war die Lage schön ruhig in einer etwas abgelegenen Straße. Die WLAN Daten befanden sich direkt an der Tür zur Ferienwohnung ganz oben. Fazit: 5 von 5 Sternen. Im nächsten Jahr gerne wieder!

Ruhige saubere Wohnung

Alles entspricht der Beschreibung und den Fotos. Unsere Erfahrung: Sauber, ruhig und auf dem neuesten Stand bezüglich der Räume und Fenster, Einbauküche, Betten, schöne Dusche usw. Für Allergiker geeignet; auf meinen Wunsch, die Daunenbetten gegen Kunstfaser einzutauschen, wurde sofort freundlich eingegangen. Wir haben ein Konzert in Mannheim zum Anlass genommen, für ein paar Tage die Umgebung zu erkunden: Heidelberg, Speyer und das zauberhafte alte Weinheim (ca. 3 km entfernt) selbst. Die Umgebung der Fewo selbst ist nicht touristisch interessant, eine normale gute Wohngegend, aber als Ausgangspunkt zentral gelegen und ideal! Gut zu erreichen durch Nähe der Autobahn (die aber nicht zu hören ist). Internet auch gut. Fazit: Wirklich empfehlenswert!

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und alles vorhanden was mann braucht.Wir haben die kurze Zeit in der Ferienwohnung sehr genossen.

clean and neat but overpriced, hot and no air conditioning, loud neighborhood (summer time)

Recently renovated clean apartment, very hot - as we have been warned by the owner - but we thought sleeping w open windows would be ok. We were also warned about construction work in the yard, but after the owner promised that the work will start at 10am, we decided to go for it. First morning we had a early awakening due to construction noise combined with some treecutting in a neighboring garden. When I called owner to complain that the work started earlier than we were assured it would, he told us that he will talk to the crew. Also we asked for soap in the bathroom - as the previous evening we were unpleasantly surprised by the absence of such basic convenience. The reply was that this was a vacation rental and soap was not to be expected. Which, for the price normally paid for two decent double hotel rooms I found preposterous. Nevertheless next evening we found soap in the bathroom and a bottle of wine with a conciliatory note in the apartment. The next 4 nights we slept w closed windows and fans switched on, which was sweaty business, but at least relatively quiet. Keeping the windows open wouldn't have been an option anyway because the next nights were at risk for rain, which could have potentially caused water damage. The only other peeve we had were the cushions, which were enormous but underfilled and lumpy, and the linen was clean but of low quality.

Wir waren mit mehreren Erwachsenen übers Wochenende dort, um einen MIRAMAR-Urlaub zu machen. Die Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen und hat alles vor Ort, was man braucht. Bettwäsche und Handtücher wurden von den freundlichen Vermietern gestellt. Alles wirkt neuwertig und sauber. Die Wohnung liegt etwas außerhalb vom Stadtzentrum - das Umfeld ist nichts besonderes, aber okay (so, wie im Inserat auch beschrieben)... Für vier Erwachsene könnte das Bad etwas größer sein.
