The location is fabulous! Nicely decorated but a bit dated with kitchen and bath, but clean!!I did have an issue with the lock upon arrival but this was corrected within 24 hours.Definitely would stay there again!

Perfect ski spot!

We had an amazing time skiing in Steamboat and this was the perfect home base! The place had everything we needed, we especially loved the covered garage and the hot tub! It was a very easy walk to the slopes, almost ski in/ski out. Perfect for our couples weekend!

Sweet place

Overall, it’s a great place to say. But if you don’t have a car, it’s a little hard to check in. The key pick up is in town and not in the resort area. But other than that, the communication is great.

The location of this condo is perfect but the actual condo can fit about 2 people comfortably, max. Advertising this property to host 4 is a gross overestimate of how many people it can accommodate.

Ski slope views

The location was fine for what we wanted and to be honest most of the town was sold out. We stayed on the mountain and it was an easy 8 - 10 minute walk from parking to the condo. There was construction everywhere and everything was closed. Luckily, we did not spend much time at the location other than sleeping. The price did not justify the stay. I will do more research next time and determine if VRBO is really worth it in the long run.

Parking lot and main entrance closed!

Main parking lot and entrance was closed creating a very long unmaintained walk to slope access via the condominium next doors alleyway without notice. This should have been upfront, very disappointed in lack of notice concerning access. Shuttle drop off took almost half an hour just to find where, and how to gain access into the building after office was closed. Grocery delivery and shuttle pick ups were a nightmare. Condition of room itself was excellent. Overall it was a real pain ITA.

Great location, some irritants

Let me start by simply saying that for skiers, the location is hard to beat. While not ski-in/ski-out, the bunny hill is across the street so you simply need to put on your skis and ski down to the new gondola to the summit. The main irritant was the whole arrival process. Since there is no parking on the premise (we knew about it, so no surprise there), you need to drive to the office to get the key; drive to the unit to unload (more on that later); drive back to the office to leave your car; then take the free Steamboat shuttle back to nearby the unit. While we were totally aware that there was no parking, what we did not know is how much of an ordeal unloading would be: not only is there really nowhere to park (street parking is, not surprisingly taken by those visiting the resort), there wasn't really any space to even stop for 10 minutes to unload our stuff (street is too narrow to double-park with flashers on). Our only option was to drive up the alleyway, put on flashers, and unload as fast as possible.. which did preclude a very angry elderly couple from yelling at us for being in an unofficial spot (to be clear, they were technically right, but there are just no other options, and the instructions mention nothing about it). Arrival process aside, the unit was very much to our liking. Not everything is updated, but things were all functional and we enjoyed our stay.

Great stay

For a first time pair in Steamboat this location couldn’t be beat, walkable to the lifts, restaurants etc. Even closer than it looks on the map. The units are a little dated, this one has been rehabbed and was so cute but a little toasty inside and had some difficulty with understanding heat unit. We’re from Florida so consider that on us! Loved the stay and would do it again.

Room comfort

Overall the property was convenient and clean. We would highly recommend you upgrade the bed and couch. Both were extremely uncomfortable. We arrived after hours and we’re worried the first night because we did not have a parking permit. However the next day they quickly brought one to us. Thank you!
