Sabine (ceramic artist whose works you can appreciate on site / workshop visitable in the village) & Denis (gardening enthusiast), welcome you to an authentic traditional 19th century farmhouse very carefully restored according to the rules of the art, nestled in the peace and quiet in the heart of the preserved Brionnais countryside, on the edge of gentle pastures welcoming the famous & peaceful Charolais cows in season, a stone's throw from a mini vineyard (local rarity!). Total tranquility in the heart of a small typical rural hamlet, nestled on a gentle exposed hill overlooking a vast valley of magnificent wooded bocage, not far from the picturesque "heart of the village". Beautiful hilly landscaped setting. Ultra restful & relaxing. Spacious gîte with very good comfort. Beautiful bright living room with a beautiful "cathedral" volume (on the site of the old barn). A warm, "country chic" feel with contemporary accents, blending tradition and modernity in a delightful mix and match, enhanced by the soul of the original building (stone walls, roof framing, wooden staircase, terracotta tiles, etc.). Enormous charm and character. An enveloping, cozy, and comfortable atmosphere. A large, shaded terrace under a reed screen opens onto the owner's vegetable garden (temporary presence possible during your stay) and a pleasant 3000m² garden landscaped in "permaculture" (cherry, fig, pear, raspberry, gooseberry, and blackcurrant bushes, etc. / picking possible) offering a superb unobstructed view and a pleasant "natural playground" for children.
