Useful for you to know:

Our house comfortably sleeps 7 with 1 King size bed in the master bedroom, 1 queen size bed, and a triple twin bunk. There is a futon in the main living room if you need more space that can sleep 2. Additionally, remove the back cushions from the large sofa and you have yourself another super cozy spot for sleeping.

- All beds complete with fresh sheets changed after every single guest.

The kitchen comes fully loaded with appliances such as a microwave, fridge, electric stove, dishwasher, and coffee maker. Fully equipped with glasses, mugs, dishes, cutlery, mixing bowls, pots, pans, cookie sheets, cutting board, measuring cups & teaspoons, and some basic serving and cooking utensils.

-Dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and laundry detergent are available for your use.

Guest access

There is secure parking for one car in the double garage and you can comfortably park 4 cars outside the house in the driveway and off street.

Other things to note

There is keyless entry to the home which a code will be provided to you after you book with us.

Please remember that you're staying in our home, not a hotel. Please treat the place with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7.

The place was a good size for our family of five and we loved that it was pet friendly. The backyard was big, which made it great for having family over for a barbecue. Just a heads up, the yard could use some upkeep and some of the furniture is a bit worn or broken, but overall it worked well for what we needed.

An excellent stay!

Such a great stay- excellent location and great host! Everything was easy to get to. The house was clean and very comfortable for our family. We were visiting our son and had him to the house for dinner, then enjoyed a nice firepit with family and friends. Highly recommend!

Nice little place close to Meridian and Downtown Boise

My family stayed at this property for two nights. The place was cozy and clean. We were a total of 7 folks staying at the property and I can say we were confortable. They have a pretty good size back yard for our dogs and best of all, they don’t have pet fees.

Great Stay for Local Dog Show

This property was perfect for a small group of senior dog friends to stay together. A nice secure yard with seating for us to visit and our dogs to play. Indoor connected living, kitchen and dining space was nice. The 2 larger bedrooms were very nice for adults. The triple bunk in the small bedroom would be great for kids but was a bit inconvenient for a senior adult. Wonderful new large fridge and lots of pantry area for our groceries. Amazing quick communication with property owner. WiFi worked great.

Wedding Party Rental for Family

Nice rental. One of the bedrooms with a triple bunk bed is not conducive to accommodating all adults, but otherwise it was worth the money. Minor details: it would be nice to have an iron & ironing board at the retail. Mowed lawns would have added aesthetically, as well. Our host was accommodating.

Comfortable and restful

We stayed one night on our way from Portland to Denver. This was a great place to stop for the night - relatively close to the main highway, near stores and in a very quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and cozy and the set up was perfect for our group of 6 people and a pet. The beds were very comfortable! Our host was very prompt in communication and so helpful. We appreciated being able to get some good rest in this comfortable home. Our car battery died in the morning and one of the neighbors was so kind to help jump start the battery and also point us to the right auto shop - helpful people in this neighborhood. We definitely recommend this space - would stop again if in the area😊

Stressful time finds Tranquility

My family (disabled mom, husband, 20yr daughter, 12yr son & I) moving from Oregon with our dog and cats found ourselves without a home between selling ours and closing on the new house. We found Kara's VRBO and they graciously allowed our entire family into their home. After travelling through a bad snow storm, we were welcomed into her warmly painted home and instantly felt the stress roll off our shoulders. The master bed was so large, so comfortable... exactly what my husband needed for a few nights solid sleep. We chose to cover the furniture with our own blankets but Kara didnt ask anything but cleaning up after them. I cant thank you enough for providing us a safe warm and inviting place to rest. Thank you!

Location was good, near shops and restaurants but in a quiet neighborhood. Great for dogs and a dog park just blocks away. Clean home and had what we needed. Nice big fire pit area in the back yard and wood provided. We were in Boise for a wedding and didn't explore the city as much as we would have liked on this quick trip.

Family reunion

We met family in the Boise area for a reunion in June. This property was even better than we had expected. It was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the yard was perfect for our two pups. The host was gracious and quick with her responses to a few questions we had. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again if we return to the Boise area.

Great neighborhood stay

The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for relaxing each evening. We were traveling into the area for a swim meet and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Kitchen is well enough stocked to accommodate meal preparation. Overall, would stay here again.

Great location but needs some improvement

Second time we’ve stayed at the property in past 18 months. There must have been a pet owner at property prior to us as there was dog hair everywhere in rug and under sofas. The property vacuum was also full of dog hair. Even after emptying and vacuuming again two inches of hair ended up in the vac receptacle. Dishes in cupboard also required rewashing as they retained light food particles. Good property but needs better housekeeping.
