Waterfront - Open lake with amazing views, dock great for fishing and fire pit

Beautiful waterfront spacious house! Large open kitchen/living/dining area with large windowed view of the lake is ideal for gathering friends and/or family. Four bedrooms and 3 full baths, and separate living space with big screen TV and sofa with pullout bed. Step out back and enjoy the view from the spacious bi-level deck or keep warm by the waterside fire-pit.

Our home is located on the desirable West Side of Cedar Creek Lake only 60 miles from downtown Dallas! The home is a perfect get-away with a boat dock with a top sunning deck. You can gaze at the stars or watch the gorgeous sunsets over the lake! While some may want to relax on the deck with a cup of coffee or a cocktail or swim and fish off the dock, others can enjoy a family adventure on the calm waters. Our wave runners are not for rent. There is also good fishing off of the dock and we have a green light on the back of the dock. Being on the west side of lake with a northern lake view is ideal, minimizing prevailing southern wind and the afternoon Texas sun!

The well-stocked kitchen has plenty of storage and is open to the living and dining areas, including an eat-in bar and farmhouse table that seats 8 where you can enjoy meals all while enjoying the gorgeous view of the lake! There is a laundry room with full-sized W/D for your use. We provide liquid laundry soap.

The master has a gorgeous view of the lake and a queen bed with a master bath. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed and is located off the main living area. Bedroom #3 has 1 double bed & 1 twin bed and Bedroom #4 has 1 double bed & 1 twin bed. The game room, also with a view of the lake, has an L-shaped sleeper sofa.

Please note that our home is not designed to hold more than the full capacity of 10 guests. Weddings and parties (loud music and rowdy behavior) are not allowed. Our home is in a quiet neighborhood, and we want to be good neighbors.

We are sorry, but no pets are allowed. Also, our fireplace is not working at this time, so we ask that you not burn in it. There is a fire pit outside right beside the water for your enjoyment.

We have a gas grill on the back porch that you are welcome to use and enjoy (grill tools are in the island behind bar stools). Please use the grill where it is located. We have condiments and spices in the kitchen that you may use.

In addition to all of the water views and activities, our home offers a great location to venture off to Canton for a day at the flea market, Malakoff or Athens for antiquing, or Seven Points and Gun Barrel for a night out for dinner, movie theater, bingo or the Whatz-up Family Recreation Park for the kids (big and small). We even have our own local brewery with great craft beers and food as well as the Triple N winery (with great cover bands weekly). The wonderful, private location and calm waters can provide the backdrop for a romantic anniversary or couples getaway, a holiday retreat, or a nice family vacation any time of the year. Great place on the lake

A fun, clean and comfortable stay for our adult family of 6. Spent time floating, fishing and sitting on the porch and playing games. It was hot but cool on the water. Docked our boat easily at their dock in the semi protected cove. Grocery store and liquor store were just a few minutes away in Seven Points.

Great girls trip

Exactly as advertised. Beautiful lake views and outdoor sitting areas. Ceiling fans outside would be a good addition to help with the keeping the upper deck more comfortable. The kitchen is loaded with everything you need plus more. We all had a great time here!

Family Lake Get Away

Our lake weekend get away could not have been any better. The lovely lake house was a perfect fit for our family of 8, and room to grow! We enjoyed mornings on the porch with coffee, college football, fishing, kayaking, great meals and games. The grocery store is a quick trip for anything we needed, but also the home was very well stocked with little extras. Our family loved our time together and we can't wait to come back!!! What a lovely home!!!!!

Great get away spot

This was an excellent spot for a few families to stay together and enjoy the lake. The house is located in a great location with awesome views. Exactly as advertised. The upstairs room gets a little warm, but it was so hot when we were staying there. Plenty of fans though. Nice sized kitchen with a big island and table for everyone to hang out around. Great spot for swimming between the dock and the yard. The hosts were very responsive and so helpful! We loved it!

Picture perfect!

What an amazing lake house! It is spacious, immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The huge windows along the back of the house allow you to fully enjoy the stunning views of this waterfront property, but what we loved most was sitting on the large, covered porch looking out over the lake and listening to the ducks. The hosts were so wonderful to deal with, and they have thought of every detail to make your stay cozy and comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen are well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We had a fabulous time and highly recommend this place! We will be back for sure!

Great Lakehouse

Property Mgr was very communicative. Wonderful lake view (actually sits at the water’s edge) so that early morning coffee on the back deck was beautiful and peaceful. Rocking chairs were a nice touch. Kids loved seeing all the ducks-adults too. House has plenty of room for a family…we had 7 adults, 1 toddler and 1 infant. We could spread out and each couple had their own room and privacy. Kitchen was spacious, stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes we needed and clean. Entire house was very clean. We enjoyed using the outside grill too. Beds were comfy. We would definitely book again

Perfect house and location for family gathering

Our family of six adults had a wonderful stay in this roomy, clean, and comfortable lake house. The listing description and pictures are accurate, as are previous reviews. The only thing that we did not anticipate was - noise from a compressor a few houses down. Unfortunately it was loud enough to somewhat affect our enjoyment of the otherwise peaceful lake setting (we gathered major construction/renovation was occurring at the neighbor’s home). Likely, this is a temporary situation. On the plus side, the house is well insulated for noise as well as temperature, so it remained quite peaceful (and cool with the AC on) inside. All in all, a great setting for a family gathering and eclipse viewing (which we did see!). The hosts are wonderful - friendly, communicative, quick and responsive. Thanks for opening your home. We've made special memories here.

Beautiful Property and Great Location

The property is exactly as described in the listing and was perfect for our group of 8 adult men. The driveway is very spacious and can fit at least 6 vehicles. The backyard patio is huge and has a beautiful view of the lake. We did not get a chance to enjoy the water at all due to the time of year we went. It was very windy in the backyard, not sure if that's year round or not. The kitchen island was actually bigger than the picture makes it look and there was plenty of space in the main living area/kitchen/dining. The kitchen is fully stocked and had everything we needed. Each bathroom had everything needed as well, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There are three thermostats so there's more freedom for individual preferences on temperature. Overall we really enjoyed the property and wished we had more time to actually enjoy more of what was available. I definitely recommend staying here if you have a big group.

Wonderful Time in an Amazing Home!

A wonderful long weekend shared amongst friends in an amazing home. The house is a perfect lake house. The open kitchen, dining and living room is great for groups sharing meals, playing games, and catching up while the bedrooms offer privacy and nice accommodation for naps and a restful night’s sleep. The home’s cooling system is great for hot, Texas summers when you are indoors, and with easy access to the lake from the dual-leveled boat dock you can sunbathe then go swim in the lake. We loved bringing our rafts and just floating all afternoon. We have rented many lake houses and this is one of the best due to multiple outdoor seating areas. There is a grocery store just minutes away in Seven Points if you need to buy groceries- but you feel very much at home in this house. We loved access to many appliances, a spacious pantry, and kitchen aides to assist in cooking meals. The huge kitchen island is one of the best parts of this home- lots of space for food, drinks, buffet style meals, snacks and spreading out. The photos are perfect representations of the home and it was spotless on our arrival. Thank you for sharing this grand property with us! We will cherish our memories while vacationing at your lovely home!

What a great lake house!

I was looking for a nice house on the lake with a covered deck and dock to surprise my husband for his birthday. This lake house did not disappoint. The pics were very accurate and it was even more beautiful in person, with its beach/lake decorations. There was plenty of room for the college kids to hang out in private in the game room with a mini fridge downstairs... and off in the other end of the house, they had their own private suite with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom for their privacy. My husband and I took the upstairs master bedroom with its on private bathroom...we never heard the college kids staying up late down below us. The yard was perfect for corn hole and the fire pit was a big hit. The kitchen had everything we needed , along with a gas grill on the deck. There were little extras that made the house even better, with soft cozy throws, drinks in fridges, candy, popcorn and spices in pantry, along with shampoos, body washes and blow dryers in all the bathrooms. The tvs were large and were great after a long day outside. The hosts were nice and easy to contact for questions. We all had a wonderful time and didn't want to leave. We did catch about 15 fish and only lost one shirt in the lake while looking at about 300 ducks come swimming by the dock. We also enjoyed the 3 little ducks that came to see us each day. Week at the lake

The house had plenty of room for our family. We had eight adults with space to spread out. We really appreciated the extra details available like laundry soap, shampoo and more. We enjoyed meals together in the large kitchen and eating area. My favorite part of the house was the large back porch with gorgeous views of the lake. Even with the heat, we spent lots of hours outside relaxing. The ceiling fan on the porch kept us cool. The owners were prompt with communication and always helpful. We will definitely plan to rent this house again. Thankful for a great week at the lake!
