About this property
UA HUKA - Ha'e Pihiti Hoe
Discover the Pihiti Bungalows on the Most Preserved Island of the Marquesas, Ua Huka.
Welcome to Ua Huka, a hidden gem of the Marquesas Islands, a unique destination for nature lovers, history enthusiasts, and those seeking tranquility. A biodiversity refuge and land of authenticity, this preserved island captivates with its spectacular landscapes and cultural riches.
Perched above the magnificent Vaipae'e Bay, nicknamed the Invisible Bay for its curved shape, our 4 bungalows offer an exceptional setting where serenity and escape meet. From your terrace, let yourself be enchanted by the breathtaking view of the verdant valley, where goats and wild horses roam freely.
The Ha'e Pihiti Hoe bungalow, built with local construction and perfectly integrated into its environment, is designed to accommodate up to 4 people. Equipped with a double bed, two single beds, and a private bathroom with hot water and toilet, they combine modern comfort with traditional charm.
Highlights of your stay:
A unique wild nature: Explore volcanoes, deep valleys, and preserved plateaus where endemic species flourish, such as the Pihiti, an endangered ultramarine lory.
A fascinating cultural and historical heritage: Dive into the island's history by visiting its numerous archaeological sites and museums (Wood Museum, Te Temu Museum, Sea Museum, and Hokatu Petroglyphs Museum).
The Papua keikaha Arboretum: Discover one of the world's largest citrus collections, a true botanical paradise.
Delicious local cuisine: Enjoy our half-board option, including a continental breakfast and a dinner composed of homemade Marquesan dishes.
Whether you are a hiking enthusiast, bird-watching passionate, or simply seeking a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle, Ua Huka is the ideal destination for an unforgettable getaway.
Book now and treat yourself to a dream interlude on the most preserved island of the Marquesas.
Your adventure on Ua Huka awaits you!
To reach this wild paradise, you have several options: take a 4-hour flight from Tahiti – Faa'a airport or a 25-minute flight from other Marquesas Islands. Inter-island ships also serve Ua Huka for a more maritime experience.
GOOD TO KNOW:
Ua Huka airport is located away from the main villages like Vaipaee, Hane, and Hokatu. Note that there is no shuttle service connecting the airport to the villages, so it is preferable to book airport transfer when making your reservation. On the island, you can move on foot, by bicycle, or by taxi. However, we highly recommend renting a vehicle, at least for a day, to fully discover the beaches, bays, museums, and other treasures Ua Huka offers. Your host offers 4x4 vehicles for rent at 10,000 XPF per day, vehicle reservation, and details to be discussed directly with them.
NB: This accommodation absolutely requires availability verification before confirming your stay. Contact our team for more information.
Any reservation is mandatorily subject to unrestricted acceptance of our general sales conditions visible on our REVA Dreams website by clicking on the general conditions.
