About this property

Graham Pet Friendly Route 66 @ The Mistletoe Farm

Enjoy the serene, spacious, pet & child friendly fully fenced home away from home. Route 66 themed with well stocked kitchen, bathroom, workspace, sofa w/recliners, fireplace, outdoor BBQ, patio furniture and more. 1 mile from downtown, lake Graham & Eddleman for sunsets, fishing or just the outdoors! Close to PK (Possum Kingdom). Over 300 VUDU movies. EV charger. Send inquiry for long term. See additional rental “Christmas 365”.
The Mistletoe Farm is tucked in a Pecan Orchard 1 mile to Lakes, Parks, and the square but still remote & private so work can continue. The Mistletoe Farm has 1 goal & I call it the Mistletoe Mission. Spread love, via the kiss, under the mistletoe. Around town we have wonderful local dining & adorable vintage shopping and schedule a Mistletoe Experience to top off the list of fun things to do in Graham. EV charging is hard to come by around here, but we are EV friendly & have a ⚡️ Tesla charger for use when you stay with us.
You will have complete control of your own stay. We will send you a code for your Check-In & Parking which is in the picture & is well explained in your Welcome email. There is ample space for you to park & plug in your EV too!
There are additional dwellings on the property. Most of the time, either myself or my co-host will be available for any questions. We are both always available via text message.
Country setting off Highway 380. Very close to many popular Lakes for boating & Fishing. This location is great to be close to the activity and parks & lakes, however if you need it to be SILENT then we want to make sure you know that we are located near a Highway. This has never been a problem; we believe that it is because there are no surprises when guests arrive. (If you are concerned, please check the location) We also have earplug’s (which have yet to be opened 03/10/23) available upon request.
The Mistletoe Farm offers 2 parking spaces free of charge and they are clearly marked.
We have recently had problems due to County/Address issues so we will send you a link to get here correctly. Thank y’all. We are working to correct this ASAP.
If you are interested in having groceries delivered to your accommodation before you arrive, you will receive a text message requesting any additional questions. This is where you can request your orders. Any additional orders for breakfast or homemade food items need to be made in advance. If you are bringing 4-legged friends, please let us know so we can set up the accommodation to suit you better. Bringing your family, the more you let me know, the better I can prepare. Special touches are my favorite! Thank you.

Great alternative to hotel
Overall very good experience and a great alternative to a hotel for one or two people. My only complaint is having to walk through long (often wet) grass to get to the unit.

The Mistletoe Mission states there is a REASON to kiss UNDER THE MISTLETOE 365 days a year. SINGLE or MARRIED. There is always a reason to kiss! I am on a mission to prove it & change the mindsets of people to DO IT! WHY? Spreading LOVE via The Kiss, Under the Mistletoe. The Mistletoe Mission in a nutshell. Kiss a grandparent, veteran, neighbor, friend, elder, military member, friend, cook, dog you get the idea. Be LOVE on a STICK! In the meantime, as the mistletoe princess, I travel, encouraging, taking pictures of people kissing under the mistletoe & spread the word. I have a special thing I do as well. As you will notice, there are 2 chocolate kisses on your letter. This is how it all began.

Why they chose this property

What is the FIRST thing a parent does when a child falls and scrapes his or her knee? Offers to kiss it & make it better, right? What if we, as adults did that? For EVERYTHING! What a much happier world we would have. Kiss (LOVE) & make up. So, I decided, The Mistletoe Farm was the appropriate name for the website as it was what I was speaking to directly.
Without giving away the farm so to speak, I will say that 13 real estate offers later, here I am in Graham, Texas looking forward to meeting you. I looked up and saw Mistletoe on the trees & confirmed it with my realtor. Switched my chocolate for Mistletoe & here I am. I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason.
First Weekend In June:
Food Truck Competition- Truly the biggest weekend in Graham, 2022 proved to be no different with music, friends and then there’s the food. Each one a little more tempting then the last.
Go Fishing in Lake Graham- so as it is walking distance from the Farm, I would be missing it if I neglected to tell y’all about Lake Graham. Just a short walk and you’ll be on the scenic shores of Lake Graham, a premier fishing destination.
Lake Eddleman- Again, as this is the closest lake to The Farm and exactly .7 miles and within walking distance. I would be a terrible host if I did not tell y’all that Texas has the most amazing sunsets & Lake Eddleman is so close & such a beautiful place to enjoy the sunset.
At one mile in circumference, Graham’s downtown square is the largest in the entire country. That’s what I have been told, so I pass it on to y’all as truth. I keep waiting for someone to prove it wrong.
Wander to the center of the square to see the Courthouse Archway, a stone arch that was once part of Graham’s original 1884 courthouse. There’s also the Young County Veterans Memorial, a red-granite structure inscribed with the names of the 157 county residents who died serving their country since World War I, as well as 5,000 area veterans.

What makes this property unique

@The Mistletoe Farm we have created unique activities for y'all to enjoy. Besides our handy Mistletoe Market (in case y'all forgot anything) we have a Kissing Booth & LOTS of fun places to selfie on the property. Spend the morning harvesting & creating mistletoe swags & learn more about mistletoe with the Mistletoe Experience. Ask for a scavenger hunt, have a romantic lunch set up for you in the Pecan Orchard. Visit with Bella (The Mistletoe Husky), Bird Watching! If you see it @ The Farm, we DO it @ The Farm.
Around Town:
National Theatre of Graham, the town’s first movie theater that opened its doors in 1919. Restored in 1980, the three-screen theater still shows first-run movies.
The Old Post Office Museum & Art Center is yet another attraction in downtown Graham that is a great place to get to know the town’s history. Check out the displays of military uniforms, photographs, and pottery in the permanent exhibit.
Catch a show at the Graham Drive-In Theatre- I won’t lie, you may or may not find me chillin’ @ a late-night double feature with some sweets in the car on a hot night.
Graham Drive-In Theatre, one of only a handful of drive-in theaters still operating here in the Lone Star State. Bring your date, or your family, to the theater and make sure to get there early to scope out a good spot. You can even bring your own drinks and snacks and MISTLETOE!
Explore Possum Kingdom State Park- Leap into refreshingly cool clear blue water, cruise past towering limestone cliffs on a motorboat, and hike scenic tree-shaded nature trails. These are a few of the adventures you’ll have at Possum Kingdom State Park, a sprawling haven for nature lovers that sits on the western side of the 20,000-acre Possum Kingdom Lake.
