Beautiful cottage with AMAZING view of Barren River Lake!

This beautiful cottage was built in 2020 with the goal of creating a "cabin getaway" from the fast pace of life. The view off the large screened in porch is considered one of the best on Barren River Lake! This home offers three spacious bedrooms and two large baths. Also, offering beautiful white pine walls and ceilings, hardwood floors , granite kitchen counters, and a gas fireplace. There are many large windows for great views of the lake and you can expect to see lots of local wild life. Gather your family or friends around the fire pit in the evening in the front yard. The cottage is conveniently located two miles from Bailey's Point boat dock for access to water activities and a playground. There is a graveled area to park boats, pontoons, etc. on the property. We are conveniently close to many area attractions including Mammoth Cave National Park, Barren River Lake State Park , Bailey's Point Campground, and the National Corvette Museum!

What a wonderful place. VERY CLEAN! Excellent location by the lake. Everything was perfect. The host was great, we lacked for nothing. It's our new favorite VRBO in Kentucky. We will be returning no doubt.

This was our second stay at the house and it does not disappoint! The lake view really is the best in the area, and we know since we have been coming to Barren River Lake for 30 years. We used to camp at the campground, but one stay in this lake house and we are never going back! You will not regret staying in this beautiful home and enjoying all the area has to offer.

We absolutely enjoyed Lakeview Cottage! The house is beautiful and well-equipped with everything we needed. The four of us decided that we would award it 10 stars if that was possible!!!Our favorite parts of the property were the screened-in porch overlooking Barren Lake and the fire pit where we gathered in the evenings! Coffee on the porch in the morning (using the supplied coffee maker and Keurig) and playing cards there during a stormy afternoon--excellent! The beds were comfortable, abundant hangers in the closets, and we had plenty of towels in the bathrooms. Sherry was a terrific communicator, and she even called us about 2 hours before check-in to tell us we could get in early! That has NEVER happened to us!We enjoyed a visit to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, and we went to several restaurants near the Cottage, But one of them really stood out! Thai Orchid, in Scottsville, was AMAZING! One of us had never had Thai food, so we ordered several entrees and the wonderful waitress/owner served them family style. We all liked it so much, we returned a second time! If you are looking for a quiet, restful place to spend a few days, you could do no better than Lakeview Cottage!!!
