Get away from it all at 'Rum and Kai', located at the Retreat in Rum Point. This beach front 1 bedroom condo is located in the stunning upscale vacation home enclave of Cayman Kai on beautiful Grand Cayman.

Completely renovated, this 3rd floor walk-up unit is fully equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing beach front vacation. The unit is tastefully decorated with high-end furnishings and the finest linens; all in an understated, yet elegant tropical West Indies motif.

Thankfully, the construction on the neighboring condo project was finally completed in Fall 2019 and the peace and serenity once enjoyed from our lanai has again returned.

Featuring breathtaking beach and ocean views from the fully screened lanai and just steps from both the quiet pool and sandy white beach (fantastic for both swimming and snorkeling). The beach features both Palm and Casuarina trees for ample shade. Rum and Kai is the perfect size (1,039 sq. ft) for couples or a small family looking for a truly stress-free beach holiday.

Within walking distance to a pier, you are just minutes from the famous Sting Ray City and Cayman's renowned North Wall, also making Rum & Kai an ideal base for a Dive vacation.

With a king size bed, queen size sofa bed and twin airbed, Rum and Kai provides ample sleeping options. The fully equipped kitchen and available BBQ grills makes dining-in as easy as if you are home. But, since you are on vacation there are numerous restaurants located nearby for you to enjoy.

In the unlikely event the weather forces you inside, you will appreciate the entertainment center featuring a large screen HDTV, Premium Cable, and an Amazon Fire Stick for streaming your favourite shows and movies. Classic board games and playing cards are also provided.

Conveniently next door is the popular Rum Point Club, featuring: restaurants, the Wreck bar, gift shop, water sports and snorkel rentals, dive shop and Sting Ray City trips.

The low density complex's amenities include: 1,200 feet of white sandy beach on the ocean (not some lagoon), pool, tennis court, fitness center, and views of the most amazing shades of blue the ocean can offer.

We arrived late on Saturday afternoon, and the host was very helpful with directions and suggesting we pick up groceries on the way to Rum Point, as stores are close on Sundays. The condo is beautifully appointed, with a well equipped kitchen and everything else needed for a beach holiday.

Perfect location, away from crowds and close to everything we wanted to do. We were looking for a non-tourist visit to Gc and found it at The Retreat at Rum Point. Swimming or walking distance from many of the adventures we were looking for and a short drive from the others. Loved it!

It was a great place to stay and we enjoyed our time there. We will stay again but we just picked the wrong time as both Rum Point and the facilities swimming pool were closed for remodeling. Still all in all a nice place and location to have some good rest and relaxation

The location in Rum point is great. Close to restaurants and a small grocery store. The space was better than described and better than the photos. The furniture and home decor was very nice and updated. The unit had everything we needed plus more. The pool is a plus and the beach was beautiful.

We enjoyed our visit to Grand Cayman. The Retreat condo was a great place to stay for “home base”. Not too far from Georgetown, great for scenic drive and shopping. You do not have to travel far for groceries or restaurants. High.y recommend Tukka for great food and drinks.. Very comfortable and relaxing- we will be back.

Gorgeous condo and a wonderful trip!

Wow - We had such an amazing time on our one week trip! The condo was really very well kept, and the decorating and comfort it had was a real treat. We went to various beaches across the island, and we believed the beaches right outside the condo (Rum Point) were the nicest on the island! We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and would absolutely stay there again. Overall, an amazing trip!

We loved this place! It was clean and comfortable and very well stocked, with a lovely view of the ocean. We felt right at home from the minute we walked in the door. The surrounding property was very well maintained, the beach out front was lovely and the nearby snorkeling was incredible. Plus, Matt and Tracey were great about providing lots of useful information and answering all of our questions in the lead up to the trip. We truly can't wait to come back!

The Best Darn Rental EVER!

This place is by far the best I have ever stayed in. It has absolutely everything you need, from beach gear right down to measuring spoons in the kitchen. I felt very much at home which made my vacation one of the best I've had.. Its clean and safe and perfectly located. I cannot recommend this more.

Gorgeous Condo with an amazing view of the clear blue water/white sand

Very well maintained, fully stocked condo with everything a traveler would need to fulfill their beach getaway. We snorkeled right from their private beach. Across the beach is all the diving/snorkeling/water sports activities you could ask for. Walking distance to local restaurant and shop. Condo was PERFECT we would recommend to anyone and go back anytime!

This is a very nice unit,...

This is a very nice unit, exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well appointed. All of the kitchen toys a traveling gourmand might want, an excellent screened lanai with a nice view and proximity to the beach, a beach bar and restaurant. Good snorkeling in walking distance and excellent snorkeling within a five minute drive.

We finally found our little piece of paradise and would love to share it with you. Having rented countless (OK, a lot) vacation properties, we are quite in tune with what makes an enjoyable vacation rental and what doesn't. The natural beauty of the Rum Point area coupled with the amazing snorkeling right off shore sealed the deal for us. Being located on the quiet side of the island was just an added bonus.
