Thanks to its location, you’ll be staying close to many tourist attractions: The mountain and ski resorts of Camurac and Ax-Les-Thermes; the Cathar castles of Montségur and Puivert; the Gorges de l’Aude; and Lake Montbel and Lake Belcaire, where you can go swimming in the summer. It’s an attractive destination for enjoying nature and its tranquility; there are many hiking trails to explore, such as the Cathar Trail, which passes through Espezel, as well as the Nature Trail and the Green Labyrinth. For cycling enthusiasts, there are numerous routes to choose from, including those of the Tour de France. You’ll love the panoramic views of this beautiful region—escape the hustle and bustle during your stay in Roquefeuil. Just a few kilometres away, in the nearby villages, you’ll find all the shops you need (supermarket, bakery, butcher shop, pharmacy, and restaurants where you can discover the region’s delicious local cuisine).
