Platinum Perfection with Mountain Views at Aspen Lodge. This 3 Bedroom plus large den, 4 bathroom condo has a superb floor plan for families and offers spacious, luxurious accommodation at an affordable price! Located just 2 blocks from the Gondola within the award winning Trappeur's Crossing Resort you have a private winter shuttle, 4 pools, 10 hot tubs, gym, sauna ..and the list goes on!

This condo was decorated with your comfort in mind. The master suite features a king bed with a 5-piece ensuite, the second room features a king bed with a 4 piece ensuite, the 3rd bedroom offers a double bunk (4 twin beds) plus an ensuite and the den can sleep 2 on the queen sleeper sofa plus it's own bathroom. The den does have french door with privacy shutters to make anyone staying in this room comfortable. At a spacious 1863sq ft the unit has a maximum occupancy of 10.

The fully equipped gourmet kitchen with its wood cabinetry has a sociable breakfast bar with slab granite countertop and the quality stainless steel appliances plus a 4-burner gas cook-top stove allow you to cook meals with ease. The living and dining area has a feature gas log fireplace and enjoys mountain views from the deck.

Bathrooms are stocked with bath products, warm robes and plush towels are standard and all beds are made up with luxury linens and cozy European style duvets. Other amenities include complimentary high-speed wireless internet, a flat screen TV and DVD player in the living area as well as stereo. The bedrooms and the den also have flat screen TV's with DVD players. There is also an in-condo washer and dryer, private ski-lockers, in-room safe, air-chilling system in the summer and private heated underground parking for 1 car.

As part of the Trappeur's Crossing Resort, Aspen Lodge has use of all of the Trappeur's facilities including Amenity Center with computers and internet access, fitness center, 4 pools, 10 hot tubs and a sauna.

In the winter, if you don't want to walk the two blocks to the Gondola, the shuttle service will whisk you from the front door to Gondola Square. The shuttle will also take you Downtown, to the grocery stores or anywhere within Steamboat City limits.

Great place for skiing

We had a great experience staying here. The check-in process and ski shuttle are very convenient. The condo was very clean, with 1 exception. I gave it 4 stars for cleanliness because there was a leak in the front closet coming from the fire sprinkler with a very foul odor. We reported it to the property manager who said they'd send maintenance, but we never saw anyone come to repair it, so we reported it again as we were leaving. I would hope/expect this would be fixed by the time someone else stays here. It didn't affect our trip though and overall this is a very nice, fairly well appointed condo and description on listing is very accurate. Beds extremely comfortable. It's very convenient for skiing and the free shuttles run about every 15 mins.

Excellent stay with the exception of Avoidable Issues

The property was as described for the most part. It would be a lovely place to stay, and for the most part was, except for the issues we had. We had a mix of adults and young children and the layout was perfect. The kitchen is excellent for cooking for large groups. There were however some very avoidable and major issues with the property. The first issue was the glass bathroom door to den's bathroom had clearly been broken previously. My six year old and myself both found shards of glass on the bathroom floor in our bare feet and in the track to the door. While I am sure whoever tried to clean it up did their best, there was still broken glass shards on the floor. Luckily no one was cut. My husband ended up cleaning the floor himself so none of children got injured. The temporary shower curtain that was put in the place of the missing door was not installed well and fell on top of my husband while he was showering. Additionally, the advertised den that includes a pull out sofa, there was no pump to pump up the sofa air mattress. So we couldn't sleep in the advertised queen sofa bed. We ended up sleeping on the floor in the room on a queen air mattress our friends happened to have in their car. Management responded to our request for a pump by sending up a twin air mattress, which was not sufficient for my husband and I. So we just stuck with our own air mattress. There were outlets with missing light bulbs that management never brought up. When you start adding up all the issues we had, it definitely felt that advertising this place as "luxurious" is a major stretch. It needs a good walk through with a maintenance and cleaning crew beyond what it is currently getting.

Great for a family vacation!

Wonderful 3 bedroom plus den AND 4 bathroom condo. All on one level with split bedroom plan. Bathrooms were beautiful, spacious, and VERY clean. A very open kitchen made it easy for several people to prepare meals together. Lots of plates, glasses, mugs! Amenities close by, including the main building where we enjoyed Happy Hour on Friday and Ice Cream Social Saturday afternoon. We would TOTALLY stay there again.

we had specific needs as our blended family got to know each other over 10 days skiing. this condo was great - especially the room with two sets of bunkbeds. "office" sofa sleeper good only for a kid - no adult would want to sleep on this for more than a night for sure but nice to have the extra spot for kids to move around. shuttle is constantly coming and going and never waited more than five minutes. you do not need a car! extra benefit of mon/fri cocktail parties was unexpected and fun. W/D with soap even included!
