HI SPEED WIFI 100 Mbps FOR REMOTE WORKING! Brand-new in January 2022, spacious fully-equipped casita with all the amenities, private garden, just 5 minutes walk from everything in town: the beautiful beach of Playa Hermosa, a mini-mart for groceries, and the best restaurants and bars.

The kitchen is equipped with induction cooktop, microwave oven, toaster oven, coffee maker and blender and we'll leave you a bag of fresh roasted Costa Rican coffee to make your mornings bright! There are tables for dining both indoors and out. There's a propane BBQ on the back deck.

We are on a septic sewage system which cannot accommodate anything other than toilet paper. Please do NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper.

We are 5 minutes from the beach. Please use the full outdoor shower and foot wash to clean off before you come into the house.

January 2024 Stay

Property was perfect for our stay. Although there are few amenities that would be nice to have. Some instructions for the cook top. It is different. May be standard to CR but different for Americans. We had to ask for more toilet paper. I bought paper towels and salt/pepper. My largest frustration was that Francisco suggested the Ginger restaurant for dinner a night. We did try to go but apparently you can’t go without reservations so went to coco to get dinner. Upon our return not only was there a car in our parking spot there was 4. It was very inconvenient. There was a security guard blocking off parking up to the little house but somehow they all got through. Was kind of irritating. Overall pleasant stay.

We loved our stay at Ginger Casa. The house and interior are new and very well decorated. The Wifi speed was perfect :) The house is close to many restaurants and beaches. We did daily trips to different beaches and sites in Costa Rica so the location was very convenient for us. Francisco was very helpful and helped us with anything we needed during our stay at the house. I definitly recommend this property to anyone.

Everything you need for a stay in Playa Hermosa

Clean, contemporary, modern space with all the important amenities! Check in was hassle-free and Francisco was super responsive - felt like if we needed anything he would be there to help; wish there had been a bit more natural light or views and the outdoor space could be improved to enjoy being in beautiful Costa Rica. 1/2 mile walk to the beach, quiet private location, safe, convenient, very walkable. No oven but did not need one. Great "house book" with lots of fantastic useful info. Lightning fast internet and Netflix included - thank you!

A quiet oasis

Our 2 month stay in Casa Ginger was a wonderful escape, from a Canadian winter , to Costa Rica's warm ocean breezes and fantastic dining experiences. The 2 bedroom house was well and comfortably furnished. A brand new BBQ added to our cooking possibilities and being next door to the famous Ginger Restaurant was a blessing as we enjoyed frequent dinners here. The manager Francisco also lived next door and his help with internet/TV, grocery trips and even a medical clinic visit was greatly appreciated. With no car we walked everywhere - 10 minutes down to the beach and many waterfront restaurants, or an equal walk along to a good grocery store (bring your own bags from home as none provided). Overall the house and setting filled our needs for a "get-away" and we thank the owner Ann for providing this oasis for us. Many thanks, Valerie
