Scam

Do not rent here! I tried to get entrance info for 2 days before rental was to start and I was called after check in time and asked to cancel my VRBO and pay cash for rental because she cannot legally rent this place. I was left without a place to stay when my plane landed at 10 pm Still trying to get my money back.

RUN!!! JUST RUN!!!!

DON'T RUIN YOUR VACATION BY STAYING HERE!!! When we tried to check in for our Sunday thru Saturday stay, the owner asked us to give her more time, to "make it perfect for us"... Not a bad thing, but an hour and a half later, we finally get in and find spoiled (cheesey) milk in the fridge, ants in the unit, and the beds were not as advertised. Two beds were actually just mattresses on the floor and the "master" bed was actually a boxspring and TWO mattresses on top of a bedframe, making the bed an over 4 feet high tower and difficult to literally CLIMB into! The owner also left laundry in both the washer and dryer after telling us we could use them. The only light in the smaller bedroom was a broken lamp we had to jerry rig to get some light. That said, we were happy to be on vacation so we weren't making a stink over anything... UNTIL we came back to the unit after a day at the beach on Monday to find an EVICTION NOTICE on the door! The owner did fix this situation, only to have the POWER CUT OFF on Wednesday morning while we were getting dressed for Non-Payment!!! We called the owner, who said she would fix it. We took her at her word, and left for the day, expecting it would be handled. We came back to the unit that night and it was not fixed. We ended up dealing with a dark, hot apartment and the owner assured us she would have it fixed it in the morning. I said okay but told her to fix it or we were leaving and wanted our $$$ back for the time in the dark and the 2 nights left on the rental. When the morning came, nothing was handled and she could not fix this, even after giving her to 11 am. We returned her key and left, (no lights, AC, Wi-fi, etc.) and are fighting to get some of our money back.

The property was not available on arrival

Contacted host prior to arrival and she did not return call. Called again prior to arrival and she advised there was an emergency and told me the key might be under floor mat. On arrival at property there was no key. Called host and no answer. vRBo worked us to find another property. This was a disaster ruining our vacation.

Ft Myers Stay

Quite complex with a beautiful pool and nice workout room. Grocery store near by and several beach options within a 30 minute drive. I was visiting the Broadway Palm Theatre, so the location was perfect for my needs.
