3 min drive to downtown Frankfort.
Easy day trips within less than a 36 minute drive from the cottage:

Rent canoes and kayaks nearby and make a day of paddling down the Platte River!
Perfect place for leaf change season and a great stay for ice fishing, skiing and snowmobile. This cozy cottage in the pines is located conveniently off of M22, tucked behind the trees and ready for you. Full washer/dryer in the house, a beautiful deck to sip coffee and relax!
Equipped with a whole house backup generator that will kick on if the power ever goes out - so you can continue your stay comfortably uninterrupted!
King bedroom, Queen bedroom and 2 Full beds (bunks.. top bunk weight limit 350 lbs, bottom bunk 450lbs) plus a queen air mattress and two futons.
Room to park boat or trailer!
Included: Fully equipped kitchen w/ coffee & breakfast essentials.
No need to pull straws on who gets the best nest - each of our mattresses are high quality foam mattresses with luxury gel mattress toppers. You will find each bed has the same comfy sheets, quilt and fluffy all season hypoallergenic duvet so EVERY guest gets a great nights rest! Every bedroom has a closet with hangers so you can unpack and relax!
Your bathroom is stocked with all of the emergency toiletries you may need in case something was forgotten while packing! Enough to get you through until you can check out the local Family Fare or Dollar General (both of which are under 5 minutes from the cottage!).
For families with little ones (or pets too!) we have a baby gate that we store in the King bedroom closet that can be set up right before the stairwell to keep them away from the stairs and chair lift **Chair lift is out of order**! We also have a little ingenuity booster seat with a tray for babies/tots along with a pack and play that is also stored in the King room closet. In the front hall closet we have a cute outdoor playpen/dome for babies under 8 months that folds up nicely to go with you outside or down to the beach and have a clean shady station for your little one! We just ask that if you do use the baby items, when you check out please leave the baby items out in the living room so we can give them a deep clean for the next guest!
Bath robes, beach towels, cozy blankets, board games and corn hole all included!
Every bedroom has a portable electric fan in the closet for those warmer nights, or for some white noise while you sleep if you’re not used to the quiet of the woods!
We will be off site; the place is totally yours! Even though we are not on site, you are encouraged to contact us any time, with any questions or concerns throughout your stay!
We have a plow service that comes and clears the snow every 3 inches of snowfall during the Winter, so no need to worry about the up north weather locking you in! There is also a small electric fireplace space heater we keep in the basement you are welcome to use! Just be sure to keep it unplugged when not in use.

What makes this property unique
The silence of a winter snow, sitting on the deck and watching the stars, having the convenience of skipping the stairs when needed and using the chair lift to get up and down. Being literally 3 minutes from the grocery store and restaurants downtown makes it easy to grab everything needed for a good time, any time of year!
