This house, with its unobstructed views and complete privacy, boasts a very large garden and swimming pool, making it ideal for a large family looking for a holiday in the Tarn region (hiking, swimming, village visits, riverside cafes, concerts, etc.) and a peaceful, idyllic setting. We'll share all the best tips! The house is our primary residence the rest of the year. It's in its original condition, imperfect, and requires respectful guests who are comfortable with that (we are gradually renovating the spaces and trust in understanding guests who will nonetheless enjoy a well-equipped home). Board games, books, toys, pool accessories, etc., are available. The downstairs bedroom was built by the previous owners to accommodate an elderly person. It has its own shower room and toilet. We call it the studio. It also has a single bed if a couple wishes to sleep there with a child (see the points to be aware of below). Upstairs, there are 3 other bedrooms, including 2 double beds (140cm) and 1 queen bed (160cm). The upstairs bathroom does not have a toilet. Therefore, there are more places than indicated in the listing. We indicate 6 people for reasons of comfort (limited dining space in the kitchen, hot water tank, etc.). Points to be aware of: If you have children: the staircase leading to 3 of the 4 bedrooms is quite steep and does not have a handrail, not very suitable for young children, people with reduced mobility, or elderly people with mobility difficulties. Furthermore, one of the bedrooms (the one with the large painting) has a French door without a railing. Our children are perfectly fine with it, but they're used to it. The pool isn't fenced (a safety cover secures it, but it's not ideal if you want to use it regularly). There's also a small pond, shallow and often empty in the summer, which some parents might find a bit daunting. Internet and telephone: we don't yet have fibre optic; we're equipping the house with a router that should provide a decent connection. Most phone networks, however, are very unreliable. The adjoining house is uninhabited; the owners visit regularly and sometimes leave their horses there. We do not charge a cleaning fee; we ask that guests clean the house before their departure. One last thing: there is no dishwasher.
