Wonderful ocean views

Sneads Folly was immaculate,well appointed and located steps from the beach. We loved the location which was less developed than other parts of the blvd. We would definitely stay there again!

This place is fantastic

This is our second trip here and even though we got hit by a tropical storm while visiting was a great stay as always.

Check in was easy. Location was perfect. The house appeared to be clean when we arrived. The master bath shower was very nice. The hall bath was very tiny. The kitchen was defiantly made for a very tall person, and he counter where the cooktop is needs repainting or replacing. Bring your own plastic storage as there was none. The outside needs some serious work as the underside is very low, dirt, and full of thorns and the doorknob is flaking leaving slivers in your hand if not careful. The grill was very nice though.

Love this property! Have stayed before and will rent again. Great location, easy beach access, nice clean home. Not having to bring the sheets or towels is a major plus!!

Great Place

Very nice and host was accomodating. Small square footage, but uses the space very well and felt roomy even with a big group! And the beach access is impossible to argue with.

Christmas Getaway

If you are looking for a relaxing, no fuss beach experience, this home is a great option. Super clean and comfy. You can see and hear the ocean from the deck. Wesley was super responsive and lovely. 10/10 would stay again.

Beautiful ocean view home with front deck and lovely seaside decor! Our family enjoyed the open concept living area which was clean, with a well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds, towels, and sheets. Perfect location, steps from tranquil beach. Wesley is an excellent, gracious host - wonderful experience from start to finish!

Fantastic Location

I can't say enough about how lovely it was having a spot on the beach right across the street that was not crowded. The house was perfectly situated and there was plenty of room for the four of us to spread out and relax at the end of the day. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and we took full advantage of the plethora of affordable fresh seafood there is available nearby and cooked some stellar dinners. I'm bookmarking this place because we would absolutely stay here again.

Pretty much your own private beach

This older house is just across the road from the beach and there is nothing to obstruct the view of the ocean. The deck is in the shade in the afternoon which was great for relaxing . The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. There is no icemaker or toaster however.. also subjectively, the mattress in the master was too soft for us.

Our stay

I recently stayed at a house in North Topsail, NC, and while the location was beautiful and the house overall met our needs, there were a few issues that impacted our stay. Firstly, the main bathroom's curtain rod wouldn’t stay up, making it impossible to use that shower. This was quite inconvenient, especially with a full house. Secondly, the sliding glass door sticks, which resulted in locking me outside one afternoon. It was a frustrating experience and could have been potentially dangerous. Additionally, the paint was peeling on the countertop in the kitchen, which detracted from the otherwise nice appearance of the space. Despite these problems, the rest of the house was in good condition and the beachfront location was fantastic. With a few repairs, this could be a great vacation spot.

Comfy, Bright, Beach Cottage..Come See & Hear the Ocean with unbeatable Beach Access

Communication with Wes prior to, was great, as he is very responsive & eager to share about his property. With that, access to home was easy and problem-free. The 'Great area' we'll call it (Kitchen, Living Room, Dining Area) was as advertised...very open, clean, with a comfy, home feel as soon as you entered. Bedrooms were spacious with more than adequate closet storage, and comfortable beds. Ceiling fans in each bedroom was quite useful. Both the master and hall bathroom, were clean and had adequate amount of towels, with nice showers. Kitchen was wonderful with large assortment of utensils and cookware, and the double-oven came in handy to multi-task a few dinners. Living room became the hub of activity with the large nice TV, with Streaming capacity, and with the immense amount of bright sunlight made it quite useful during the day. Neighborhood is away from the more busy area of the main road's activity, a cul-de-sac. The walk to the beach is unbeatable, literally a 3 minute walk across street, and over sand dunes. Offers GREAT sunrise pictures over the ocean. Plenty of parking for more than one vehicle if necessary, with ability to park underneath home in case of inclement weather. Overall, a great experience, thanks Wes for allowing us to grace your home. We'll be back....PS: very dog friendly, as plenty of room inside and out.

Great cottage and location. Ocean view from the front porch was perfect for morning coffee or afternoon relaxing. Beach access is right across the street and area was quiet and no crowds on the beach, even on the weekend. The cottage is older, but clean and charming. The property owner was quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely book again.

We appreciated the relax atmosphere and the close proximity to beach. I loved the affordability and that it was dog friendly. This is a silly thing to note but the pillows were great and if I had known I wouldn’t have bothered packing my own. I’m thankful for the time my family got to spend together and that we were able to stay there. I would stay there again.
