Residence:
Welcome to the Val St Georges Chalet Village, a family campsite nestled in the heart of the Grands Causses Regional Natural Park, in the heart of Aveyron. Dreaming of a campsite near Millau, quiet, friendly, and perfectly located? Here, we offer a lush setting, a relaxed atmosphere, and all the amenities for an unforgettable family stay.
Enjoy nature, wide open spaces, comfortable accommodations... and a caring team to make you smile from the moment you arrive!
It's the ideal starting point for discovering the treasures of Aveyron, with its rivers, cliffs, and charming villages
Millau, the Regional Park of the Grands Causses, the Gorges du Tarn are essential sites for the sports of Plein Nature. The world-renowned competitions are organized there: Raid Templiers, X trem Days, the 100 Kms of Millau, Rally des Cardabelles, Mondial de Pétanque, Route du Sel, Caussenarde, Master International de Parapente, Vittel Cup, endurance raids, walking, rafting, mountain biking. Less extreme but also convivial, we recommend unusual walks for the whole family: hiking, discovering vultures, swimming, windsurfing, lively night evenings, 'farmers' market' on the Larzac. One life is not enough to enjoy all these pleasures!! The beaches on the Tarn, Pareloup Lake or Salagou Lake are small corners of Paradise. Dominating the Tarn Gorges or meditating at the Lerab Ling Buddhist Center changes your life! In a small radius of 30 km, you have a fabulous cultural diversity. In the time scale, start by discovering the underground mineral life, Caves of the Abeil, Aven Armand. Protect yourself from possible attackers in the 4 Templar cities of Larzac, swords and shields will be provided to your children to defeat the castle of Montaigut. Visit the secular cellars of Roquefort, sing at the abbey of Sylvanès... The XXI century will allow you to visualize the life of insects in Micropolis and use video cameras (or paragliders) to follow the flight of the Vultures in the Gorges of the Dourbie. Ride: jet-ski, quads, karting and horses to simply enjoy life. During one day, the SOULAGES Museum in Rodez, the Abbaye de Conques and the stained glass windows of Soulages, the Trésor de Sainte-Foy, Laguiole en Aubrac, Les Grands Lacs de Pareloup , Micropolis deserve your visit. To finish the time scale, take the Hiking Paths accessible from the holiday village to access the Larzac cornices and discover the highest Millau Viaduct in the world (343 m). Since 16 December 2004 at 9.15am the dream has become reality: you can fly without wings over the Tarn valley at 110km/h. Via the A75, Millau is 1 hour 10 minutes from the Mediterranean and 20 minutes from the Gorges du Tarn. In Millau, follow the D992 towards Albi-St Affrique. 7 km away, at the entrance to St Georges, follow the signs to the left for 'Le Larzac' and then Val St Georges. The holiday village is located 500 m outside the village, on the picturesque little road that climbs to the Grands Causses. The Val St Georges holiday village, consisting of 17 residential chalets for 4/6 people and 4 mobile homes for 2/4 people, is built on the terraces of a former vineyard, adjoining the village of St Georges de Luzençon. The chalets overlook the river. Its low altitude and south-facing exposure (324 m) ensure a pleasant stay in all seasons.
