I really enjoyed my stay here in Bormla, the location was perfect and in close proximity to exploring so much within walking distance. The room was cozy and just as described, it was very minimal which was perfect for a solo get away. I loved taking the ferry to Valletta and walking near the water near the ferry port in Bormla. I also enjoyed the hammock chair for reading, it was very moody and cozy. I stayed for about 2 weeks as a solo travel and felt comfortable having access to air conditioning and a shower with a great water tank. I walked almost everywhere and thought the location was perfect, though the steps do require some getting used to especially on the way back up. The locals and residents are very kind and welcoming from the interactions I’ve experienced. With the room being minimal and my stay being long, it would have been more comfortable to have access to a fridge though the room did not have one during my stay. I also had woken up a few times to the construction renovations that were going on behind the wooden door due to lack of insulation and full seal of the door inside of the room (not main entry). The host will send someone to clean upon request though during my stay I would have liked access to a sweep and dust pan due to the amount of dust from the lime rock that accumulates day to day. Overall, this was a great and cozy stay that captured the beauty and character of Bormla with access to explore and experience Malta with ease.
