Vacation home "Alte Post" in the Eifel with private barrel sauna and relaxation room

The apartment was lovingly renovated in 2016. In this apartment, which has an open fireplace and a beautiful terrace space, you can spend a relaxing holiday.

The apartment is located on the premises of the old post office.
The former old post office in Pronsfeld has been lovingly converted into an attractive residential building. Old and new have been harmoniously combined. An art gallery is being built in the former butcher's shop (extension).

The apartment is 100m2. It has 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed, a fireplace room with a sofa bed, a bathroom, a kitchen, a living-dining room and a terrace.
One bedroom has a TV. In the living room is a flat screen TV, a DVD player and a stereo. A piano is also available here.
The kitchen is fully equipped with: ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, ...
There is an open fireplace in the fireplace room. We have also made a selection of books available for you here.
There is a washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board and a grill.
WiFi is free.
The price includes freshly made beds, hand and tea towels, one-time firewood.

If you love nature, this is the place for you. You have a hiking and cycling network in the immediate vicinity. Winter sports enthusiasts also get their money's worth with us.
Pronsfeld is located in the Eifel, surrounded by forests and hills.
The municipality with around 1000 inhabitants is located in the western Eifel in the German-Belgian Nature Park, close to the Belgian and Luxembourg borders.
In the village, bike paths along the former railway line lead almost without any gradients to St. Vith in Belgium, Prüm or Waxweiler.
In town there is a bakery for you (also fresh bread on Sundays), a pizzeria, 2 doctors, a dentist, two hairdressing salons and two banks.
Within a radius of 7 km you will find several supermarkets, all shops for daily needs, swimming pools, a cinema, restaurants, ice cream parlors and much more.

Nice place

We enjoyed our stay very much. Beautiful village nice and quiet. The hostess was also very friendly and accommodating. Pro's -House is bigger in reality than in the pictures. We were pleasantly surprised. -Nice sauna Tips for improvement -install anti-insect nets on a couple of windows were pleasantly surprised.

Die Unterkunft an sich ist sehr liebevoll und von der Ausstattung empfehlenswert. Wer jedoch einen ruhigen Urlaub erleben möchte, sollte sich vorher von der Gastgeberin versichern lassen, dass die drüber liegende Wohnung nicht belegt istFür uns wurde aus diesem Grund der Urlaub ein absoluter Reinfall und wir sind bereits nach 2 Nächten wieder abgereist. Dass es in der Unterkunft so extrem laut werden würde durch die Nachbarn wurde im Vorhinein nicht kommuniziert.

Sommerwoche in der Eifel

Wir wurden sehr nett von der Vermieterin empfangen. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sauber und gemütlich. Es fehlt an nichts. Ein schöner Garten schließt direkt an die Wohnung an, zum Kicken und Entspannen. Wir kamen an und haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt! Die Ferienwohnung können wir auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Eine der schönsten Ferienwohnungen, die wir je hatten. Liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr gepflegt und vor allem die Küche war perfekt ausgestattet. Die Raumaufteilung war für uns praktisch, da wir mit einem befreundeten Pärchen dort waren und uns in der großzügigen Wohnung gut verteilen konnten. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren total zufrieden und kommen bestimmt wieder, vor allem weil es demnächst noch eine Sauna im Garten geben wird.

Sehr schön und erholsam

Wir konnten 10 erholsame Tage in der Eifel verbringen. Der Garten bot genug Platz und Schatten, um auch die heißen Tage entspannt zu überstehen. Die Schlafräume blieben auch bei dauerhaft über 30°C Außentemperatur angenehm kühl. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Urlaub, zu dem die gepflegte und gut ausgestattete Unterkunft ihren Teil beigetragen hat.

Beautiful tastefully furnished holiday apartment within easy reach of lovely places to visit

This apartment is very special. It is furnished in a very tasteful way and provides restful surroundings for guests. For our family of two adults and three children, it was perfect. Mechthild, the host, has thought of everything, including indoor and outdoor games for the children to well stocked bookshelves and a piano! Mechthild was also there to welcome us on arrival and wave us off when we were leaving. Located in a small village, it is a very good base from which to visit the Eifel region and beyond. There is a bakery just up the street and Prüm, its nearest town, is very accessible for general shopping needs. We stayed for three nights and we definitely will return here one day. We have very happy memories of our stay here and recommend it wholeheartedly to visitors to this part of Germany.

Perfekt ausgestattetes Hideaway!

Vom ersten Moment an fühlten wir uns in dieser sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung wie zu Hause! Die Gastgeberin, Frau Waxweiler, hieß uns herzlich willkommen, die Wohnung war warm und einladend hell erleuchtet. Unser Fazit: ein rundum gelungenes Wochenende in einer landschaftlich reizvollen Gegend!

Hier kann man sich sehr wohl fühlen

Wir haben hier einen Kurzurlaub verbracht und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es ist sehr gemütlich, schön und alles vorhanden. Das Klavier, der Kamin, die gesamte Ausstattung ist Klasse. Auch unsere zweijährige Tochter hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt.
