Peaceful and beautiful farm

I highly recommend this place for families. Our children loved playing with the goats and having the chickens around. It’s very peaceful and quiet. The apartment was clean and well furnished. We visited the Dells area and Devil’s lake with plenty to do for a long weekend in the area.

Our stay was wonderful, Jen is a very understanding host. The Property is set back in the woods, the chickens & goats were very entertaining to watch. We had a wonderful time, this is actually are second time stay at Evergreen Farm, and would definitely stay again.

Secluded, beautiful location--with goats!

We loved our stay at the property! We came to stargaze and were not disappointed--we had a clear night and could see a trillion stars because there was very little light polution. The property is beautiful, and we were thrilled to be able to walk the goats on our last morning. They're just like dogs!

We chose this location because it offers something that’s getting harder and harder to find, true peace, privacy, and space to breathe. Surrounded by towering pines and open farmland, this area gives you that quiet, tucked-away feeling while still being just minutes from the charm of a small town.

What we love most is the simplicity of it all. You can step outside and hear nothing but the wind in the trees, watch wildlife pass through, and actually see a sky full of stars at night. It’s the kind of place where mornings feel slower, days feel longer, and you can fully disconnect from the noise of everyday life.

At the same time, you’re only about 10 minutes from Montello, where you can grab a bite to eat or enjoy a movie at our historic theater. It’s the perfect balance of secluded farm life and small-town convenience.
