About this property

Picturesque cozy villa for 4 - 6 people. Very quiet and authentic.

Pomme de Pin - or Pine Cone - is our picturesque seaside villa near De Haan. For us it is an ideal place to relax in a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, enjoy the sea and the beach, to stroll among the beautiful Belle Epoque buildings and dune forest in De Haan, go for cycling in the Polders and the famous reserve Uitkerkse Polder , and explore much more of what our Belgian coast has to offer.

When we are not at sea, villa Pomme de Pin is also to let.

Pomme de Pin has a private driveway, you can also park along the road (very quiet street). There is a front garden, a path with small side garden and barbecue aside and a garden with terrace behind the house. The terrace on the west side, has a garden table and six chairs, and is directly accessible from the living room.

Ground Floor: Income hall, toilet, bathroom 1, store, living with 2 person sofabed, fully equipped kitchen with oven, micro, dishwasher etc., terrace
1st Floor: Bedrooms for 4 people. Large bedroom with double bed, ensuite bathroom and television, 2 smaller bedrooms with each 1 single bed and its own washing bason.

Communication and multimedia: Telephone, wireless internet, radio / CD, cable television in living and main sleeping room

Surroundings:
Pomme de Pin is situated 400 m from the beach between De Haan and Wenduine. This 5 km beach is still untouched, ideal for walking or bike or horse riding.
The center of De Haan is at 3 km, the center of Wenduine is at 2 km. The walk to both De Haan or Wenduine leads you through the wood or along the beach.

The coastal tramway has a stop at 200m of the house. It brings you to all towns on the coast, from Knokke to De Panne. No need for a car!

Swimming pool: tropical swimming pool at 400m, other swimming pools in De Haan and Wenduine center.

Great spot and surroundings

„Picturesque cozy villa…. Very quiet and authentic.“ is true indeed. The house has a very unique charm and is located in a calm neighborhood at a walking distance of only 15-20 minutes from the beach. The walk is very pleasant given that—except for the two points where you cross a road—you are fully surrounded by the serenity of nature. The wide part to which the paths lead you is probably the most beautiful section of the entire Belgian coastline as there are no buildings but only impressive dunes to look at. Reaching close cities such as De Haan or Bruges is easily done by car, tram, or bus. The house itself is fully equipped with everything you might be needing in the kitchen or outside on the terrace, and the living room was a pleasant place to be during our meals or when relaxing on the couch. Correctly managing the waste separation is a bit of a challenge, but a look at the relevant booklet in the closet near the dining table might help you unravel this mystery. When climbing the narrow and steep stairs to reach the bedrooms, make sure you watch your head or else your vacation experience might start with a loud „OUCH!“, and when you are taller than a child, you’d better not attempt to take a shower in the bathroom downstairs or should kneel or sit down with the shower head held close to your body to keep the bathroom from unexpectedly turning into a water park.Conclusion: We had a magnificent stay and might return one day for another awesome adventure…

Gemütlich und erholsam

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche an der belgischen Küste. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und gemütlich eingerichtet. Obwohl es insgesamt sechs Betten hat, ist es doch eher klein und für sechs Personen etwas eng. Der Zugang zum Strand ist einfach zu Fuß machbar, ein kurzer Spaziergang durch den Dünenwald reicht. Es war sehr schön, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Alles sehr gut mit ÖPNV zu erreichen!

Sehr schöne "Nicht-Ferienhaussiedlungs"-Atmosphäre, sehr gepflegtes und persönlich gestaltetes Haus. Jan hat mich außerordentlich gut betreut - zum Beispiel bei der Suche nach Restaurants in der Umgebung, die auch an einem Montag geöffnet haben. Danke hierfür!

A quiet and cozy space

The house is located in a quiet part of town which makes it a great spot to relax without any disturbances. The interior is cozy and offers space for up to four people. Short drives to Oostende and Brugge. We enjoyed our stay and the excellent communication with our landlord Jan. Highly recommended!

Lovely house in great location

Thank you for a lovely holiday – we really enjoyed our stay in your house. The house was very clean and well cared for. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed and the little terrace outside was a perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee. I appreciated the washing machine – there is nothing worse than getting home after a holiday and have to do a load of laundry. The alpaca walking tours which passed by the house each morning and evening were an unexpected bonus – so cute! We thought the location of the house was fantastic – lovely and quiet but just a short walk to the tram stop - we visited during August and two could travel for the price of one with tickets bought via the app so the whole family could trave for 5 euros which was good value. The beaches are wonderful – beautiful sand and clean facilities. We visited Bruges, Ghent, and beautiful Brussels – all were close enough to drive to for day trips. It was all good and I would highly recommend this property to other visitors.

Alles da für einen schönen Urlaub: - in 15 min zu Fuß am Strand - Bus nach Brügge in der Nähe - schönes, gut ausgestattetes Haus - netter Vermieter Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und empfehlen das Haus gern weiter.

Entsprach nicht der Beschreibung

Positiv: Die Lage war schön. Die Aufteilung war gut. Negativ: Es handelt sich um eine Doppelhaushälfte, was auf dem Foto nicht erkennbar ist und in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnt wird. Die Gartenanlage war ungepflegt ,nicht so wie auf dem Foto zu sehen ist . Besonders abgenutzt sind die Toiletten. Für ein Ferienhaus in dieser Preisklasse unakzeptabel. Alles war einwenig abgewohnt und auch nicht so sauber wie man es sich von einer Ferienwohnung wünscht. Tut mir leid ,dass ich nicht zu einem besseren Ergebnis komme.

Schönes Haus in der Nähe von De Haan

Das Haus ist sehr schön in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße gelegen. In der Straße gibt es keinen Durchgangsverkehr für Autos. Den Strand kann man bequem zu Fuß erreichen. Hierfür geht man durch ein Wäldchen und ein Dünengebiet. Allerdings müssen auch zwei größere Straßen und die Gleise der Küstentram gequert werden. Zum Strand läuft man ca. 15 Minuten. An der Stelle ist der Strand nicht durch Rettungsschwimmer überwacht. Sie fahren allerdings mehrmals am Tag mit dem Boot vorbei und schicken Badende aus dem Wasser. Zum bewachten Strand läuft man dann ca. noch mal 500m Richtung Wenduine. Ins Zentrum von De Haan läuft man ca. 45 Minuten. Allerdings hält auch der Bus und die Küstentram in der Nähe. Die Tram fährt im 10-Minuten-Takt. Lädt man sich die App aufs Handy und kauft das Ticket über die App kostet es nur 1,80. Damit kann man dann 1 Stunde mit der Tram fahren. Das Haus hat drei Schlafzimmer, eins mit Doppelbett und zwei mit je einem Einzelbett. Die Küche ist vollständig mit Backofen, Kochfeld, Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler, Kaffee- und Espressomaschine ausgestattet. Geschirr und Besteck ist genügend vorhanden. Es gibt zwei Badezimmer mit Badewannen. In einem der beiden ist eine Waschmaschine vorhanden. Hinter dem Haus ist eine kleine Terrasse, auf der wir immer gefrühstückt und zu Abend gegessen haben. Die Terrasse lässt sich mit einer Markise vor der Sonne schützen. Zusammenfassend haben wir einen sehr schönen Urlaub in einem sehr schönen Haus verbracht.

Empfehlenswert!

Ein individuell gestaltetes und eingerichtetes Haus, das seine Funktion als Domizil der Eigentümerfamilie nicht verbirgt und in dem man sich wie "zu Besuch" fühlt. Für uns sechs Personen hat das Haus gut ausreichenden Raum geboten. Die Küche ist modern und zweckmäßig eingerichtet und mit einigem Verbrauchsmaterial (Kaffeefilter usw.) ausgestattet. Das Wohn- und Esszimmer lässt sich im Handumdrehen zu einem Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett verwandeln. Der Weg zum Strand zwischen Wenduine und De Haan, der in einem Teilabschnitt vom Rettungsdienst gut bewacht wird, lässt sich zu Fuß bewältigen. Wir haben wegen der Kinder und des Strandgepäcks .vorgezogen, direkt hinter dem Seedeich in der Straße Koninglijke Baan zu parken. Dass es offenbar kein Schild mit der Bezeichnung der "Wenduinestraat" gibt, hat zu einem kleineren Problem beim Auffinden des Hauses geführt, zumal unser Navi dieses partout an der falschen Straßenseite verorten wollte.
