Ideally located near the famous Royal Fortresses of Languedoc (Quéribus, Peyrepertuse, etc.), the cottage is a prime starting point for discovering the region's natural and historical treasures: the abbeys of Fontfroide and Lagrasse – the latter being listed among the most beautiful villages in France. Heritage and discovery enthusiasts will be delighted: Villerouges-Termenès Castle, Terra Vinea in Portel-des-Corbières, the Sigean African Reserve, Narbonne and its museums. The Mediterranean beaches are also within driving distance, as are the medieval city of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi, the port of La Nouvelle, and Sainte-Lucie Island. A comfortable cottage with a wellness and leisure area: The cottage features a large private swimming pool (13 x 6 m, 1.20 to 2 m deep), secured by a fence and roller shutter, and heated depending on the weather (temperatures above 25 degrees). From the terrace, you'll access the air-conditioned pool house, which features a 6-person spa, garden furniture, a shower room with toilet, and a fitness room with a pool view (professional equipment). For younger guests, an outdoor playhouse and various games are available, as well as a ping-pong table. Inside, you'll find: A large living room with a fully equipped kitchen and fireplace, opening onto a south-facing terrace with garden furniture, an awning, a pergola, and a plancha grill. 3 bedrooms with 160x200 cm beds. 1 bedroom with 80x200 cm modular beds. A mezzanine with two 90x200 cm beds, a private shower room and toilet. 2 additional shower rooms with toilets. A laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. A scarred but still vibrant region: Following the fire of summer 2025, the landscapes around Jonquières still bear the scars of this event. However, the Corbières retain their charm and rich heritage, offering visitors an authentic experience full of discoveries. A haven of peace in the heart of the Corbières.
