It is difficult to put a value on convenience when it comes to your vacation. Convenience affords you more time to experience your vacation while reducing the time required to plan the logistics of it. The Whitefish Nook is the epitome of vacation rental convenience as there is a variety of things to do and experience just blocks away.

Location?

You will be located two blocks from downtown Whitefish which means you get all the benefits of the adorable downtown sector including boutique shops and a plethora of fine dining options without having to worry about the noise from the bustling nightlife.

Skiing Transportation?

A two block walk will take you to the S.N.O.W. bus shuttle stop where you can catch free rides up to Whitefish Mountain Resort. Be sure to check the schedule as it varies by season. https://bigmtncommercial.org/

Lake Life?

Take a one-minute stroll and you will arrive at the gorgeous Whitefish River Trail. From here, choose to paddleboard up the river to the lake or continue along the path for another five minutes and you will find yourself ankle-deep in sand at the Whitefish City Beach.

Nightlife?

Save yourself the expense and hassle of finding a taxi or using a designated driver if you opt to have a few drinks downtown. At the Whitefish Nook, your nightlife experience is just a few blocks away! Glacier Getaways politely requests that all guests show respect to our home and the neighbors and leave the party at the bar.

The Space:

The Whitefish Nook is situated on the second floor of a 3-story apartment complex. This newly updated unit is sparkling clean and tastefully designed. Entry into the space reveals a cozy living room which eventually transitions into a fully-stocked kitchen if you prefer to do your own cooking.

The single bedroom condo comes equipped with luxury linens and tasteful furnishings. The living room also has a single bed luxury sleeper with a mattress attachment for additional sleeping accommodations. You will have to leave the furry friends at home this time as we cannot accept pets in the unit. There is one full bathroom with a single sink and a shower/tub combo. Coin operated laundry is available on site in the common area of the apartment complex. There is a designated parking space in the covered carport located on the back side of the building.

fun in the mountains

What a great location, super close to downtown Whitefish so you can walk to everything. The condo had everything we needed. We have stayed in this building many times. I think it is time to have the hallways and stairs recarpeted.

Great little apartment

I stayed here for 2 nights and appreciated the full kitchen and many provided supplies. The bed was comfortable as well. I didn’t have any problems with my stay, so no communication with the host was needed. But I got several emails and a text with instructions on how to access the property. One thing that I would have appreciated, was warning about the siren that goes off at 10pm every night. When traveling in an area I’m not familiar with, I wasn’t sure if it was something I needed to pay attention to.

Nook Ski Getaway

We had a great time staying at the Nook for our annual ski trip! It is conveniently located to everything so you don't need a car. The SnowBus was a great way to get up and down from the mountain. The accommodations were perfect for what we needed to mix up cooking for ourselves and going out to enjoy the local restaurants. We would certainly stay here again!

Whitefish stay

Renting the property was very easy Suggestions for property owner 1. A/C unit did not adequately cool unit on90+days. Never got below 76 during hot part of day 2. Get door for bedroom 3. Get shades for windows that face stairwell, it let in too much light at Night, especially with no bedroom door 4. Toilet still has leak even after it was repaired. It was better but not fixed

As there are few public transportation options, we recommend renting a car while visiting to give you the ease & enjoyment of traveling at your discretion. Snow tires are strongly recommended during winter months!

The historic Whitefish Train Depot is a major stop for Amtrak on the Empire Builder line. The train arrives daily from points east and west. The train station is an easy 10-minute drive from Whitefish Mountain Resort.

The S.N.O.W. (Shuttle Network of Whitefish) Bus is convenient and free. You can find bus schedules on Whitefish Mountain Resort's website.

Please inquire for special offers on rental cars if needed. Rental cars have limited availability so be sure to inquire in advance if interested.
