We really enjoyed our stay over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Having the pool table in a central location was awesome. Would’ve been nice to have a few more/larger bathroom amenities, and kitchen space was limited but we loved each bedroom having its own bathroom. Weather didn’t allow us to enjoy the pickleball court, but overall it was a great stay.
We had a wonderful time on our family getaway welcoming our young soldier home from an 11 month overseas deployment. The house is well set up and in a peaceful location. One recommendation would be for kitchen equipment- we are cookers and so not having frying pans and only 2 pots made that difficult.
The house is in a great location. It feels secluded, but is only 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. The last 2 miles are definitely narrow, winding mountain roads! The house is nicely furnished, and has a lot of windows to enjoy the view. The amenities were perfect, and everything was just right for our family reunion. We all enjoyed our time together and constantly discussed how great the whole space was. The common areas were well-sized for hanging out inside or outside. Having four private suites was an advantage for our group, and the 1/2 bath in the common area was a bonus. The pickle ball court was good for enjoying extra time outside. I definitely recommend this property and hope to visit again.
We drove up from Florida for spring break for a week long vacation family vacation with our little doggy in tow! First impressions of the house were A+. Cleanliness is huge for us in a vacation spot and the cabin was very clean! It was exactly how it appeared in the listing and when we arrived everyone already knew which room was theirs. We were pleasantly surprised to see two arcade systems on the main floor of the house that were not pictured in the listing. That was a huge bonus and source of entertainment for all of us! The kitchen was great, fully stocked with everything we would need. We absolutely loved the flow of the house. We’d have someone in the kitchen cooking, someone playing pool or on the arcade, people in the hot tub…and we were all interacting and having fun with each other. It was perfect. The location of the cabin was the selling point for us….It was a quiet mountain area, away from the hustle and bustle but we didn’t have to drive more than 30 minutes for anything that we wanted to do! I’ve noticed a few people mention the road leading to the cabin and yes it is a windy mountain road but it is very well maintained and was not an issue for us. We come to the mountains for the full mountain experience and you’ll definitely get it at this place! We’ve been renting cabins every year since 2020 and this is the very first one that we’d return to! The only thing we were disappointed to not have was an outdoor fire pit to hang out at. Other than that…A++++
My family and I stayed here for my father’s 60th birthday! The cabin was absolutely perfect for us! The interior was so cozy! The flow of the house was great for socializing! Conversation could flow easily from the dining nook, to the kitchen, to the pool table, to the sitting room and to the people on the deck! Added bonus was every room had a bathroom attached, so there was no fighting for who got the best room!
The biggest highlight for me was how secluded the cabin felt. Even though we had neighbors nearby, it did feel as though we were the only people around! I enjoyed not having to share a driveway with other families (we brought 4 cars and could park them easily) and when we stood on the deck we didn’t make awkward eye contact with a stranger! Because we were so secluded, the drive to the cabin was a bit scary! I am confident in my driving abilities and some of those switchbacks had me sweating! Make sure someone in your group is a safe driver and pack motion sickness meds for everyone else!
During the entirety of the trip, my family kept saying how great the cabin was and how we would absolutely stay there again! The cabin was approximately 20-30min from all the major tourist attractions but we did not mind the drive!
I would say this is the perfect cabin for an all adults trip who are not in the area to get blackout drunk 24/7 (stay closer to the party areas for that type of trip).
This cabin is a great place to stay where you can relax but still be close enough to everything you want. It was about a 20 - 40 min drive to any of the major places like Gatlinburg, Piegon forge, and the Greaky Smokey hiking trails.
The cabin was super clean, and we loved the pool table and hot tub. The driveway can be a little tricky if you have larger cars (we had trucks). We had a bit of a bee/wasp issue but the host is super responsive and was very helpful with getting the issue resolved and helping us with any other problems. Overall, a perfect place to stay for any large group vacation!
It was spacious and quiet. Everything was functional and there were plenty of appliances and stuff to use during the stay. There were a lot of pest issues, but that is expected with Tennessee weather. Anything I brought to attention of the owner was discussed and he was SUPER responsive, which made the stay much better. Any time housekeeping or maintenance was needed, they were there within 24 hours.
This was our first time to Tennessee and we loved everything about our stay. This was in the perfect location to hiking, pigeon forge and gatlinburg. It was clean and had everything we needed to make the stay perfect. The pool table and hot tub were an absolute hit. There was one very small incident and Kyle was quick to respond and take care of it for it us. Thank you so much for a perfect trip to Tennessee!
The property was clean. It’s a great, quiet location! Close enough to all the area has to offer, yet far enough away to allow for just good ole relaxation. Kyle is extremely responsive to our request to had a pkg deliveried the day before our arrival. (he even had it placed inside for us!)
Everything was ok, only two negative items….1) only 3 kitchen knives for a house that sleeps 12..(not a deal breaker). 2) both tvs in upstairs bedrooms did not work (was not hooked up to Dish.). We contacted owner about tvs and got an immediate response. And of course, as a lot of comments about road getting to house, narrow and winding.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was amazing and we particularly liked the hot tub. Finding the location for the first time was a little challenging but we had fun with all the winding roads. Centrally located allowing us to be in Sevierville, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge very easily.
We had the best time! The cabin was perfect for our family of 6 with plenty of room to spare. It is centrally located for us to explore multiple towns and the state park. The hot tub was amazing after our hiking adventures. Pool and chess tournaments were also a big hit with all of us. We were definitely sad to be leaving!
Echo Canyon Lodge was perfect for our family vacation. Gorgeous inside and out with tons of amenities. Great private location but close enough to all the area attractions. Kyle was very quick to respond to the one question we had during our stay. The road to the property took some getting used to, but after the first trip it was no problem (although I probably wouldn't suggest driving it in a 30 foot RV like we did).
Cabin was very clean and had everything you could need to cook meals. Cabin was very accommodating for our large group of 9. Location was good. Out enough to enjoy the peace and quiet yet still close enough to hit the town. Would highly recommend.
This property was a wonderful place for a last minute getaway for my family. The host was very communicative and the property was perfectly located. The cabin is exactly as described and pictured. We appreciated the clean hot tub, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Overall a wonderful stay!
The cabin is very clean. The floor could have been swept and mopped a little better. But it was a beautiful cabin. A little challenging to drive into cabin area. Two lane traffic on mostly one lane road. I suggest getting there in daylight. Perfect location between all hiking/ restaurants/ cities. We would stay here again for sure!
What a wonderful experience! Comfortable, roomy, secluded. With 3 adult children it was great to have the privacy of 4 bathrooms. The hot tub was roomy and clean. The pool table was a big hit with lots of competition to be had by all.
What impressed me most was Kyle and Erin’s quick response to all my questions pre trip and while we were there. We highly recommend this location and will definitely be coming back!
This is the 2nd year our family has rented Echo Canyon and we love it! It has 4 private bedrooms and a great common area, for family meals, sitting by the fireplace or a game of pool. Great deck for grilling meals.
It's located in a quiet wooded area, and does have a narrow, windy road which can be tricky. But it gets us away from the busy parts of the area, and is still close enough to enjoy the area entertainment.
We noticed a few new improvements from last year. New kitchen sink, faucet and dishwasher.
We had a couple of issues with the coffee maker and lack of propane for the grill...but Kyle was very kind to respond quickly and had maintenance fix the issues right away. He even had a new Keurig delivered to make our family happy! We also appreciate the cabin is pet friendly. Our 2 miniature dachshunds settle right in and enjoy their time with family!
This home was clean and beautiful!!! We arrived for a long weekend to celebrate two people in our party turning 50. Timing on the fall colors could not have been better. Great trip.
We had a great trip to the mountains!! If you are looking for a relaxing atmosphere this is it. Beautiful cabin in a quiet, peaceful setting.
