This house was wonderful. Better than the pictures. Very nice layout. Roomy. The pool was delightful. I was a bit nervous renting when they said the pool was only heated to 81. But on my thermometer it was 90 most days. The solar panels work well. We loved this house so much we have already rebooked for next year.
This was a excellent house and area. Very quiet pool was great would definitely recommend and would stay again next year if available for our trip that is
The property was amazing had kayaks, which was a nice surprise and several stocked stapes in the kitchen. Location was a little far from everything but doable. The listing is for a heated pool, which it did not have heat at allIt had plastic floating hexagons on the pool, which did nothing to heat itGreat outdoor space and lots of room to gather both inside and out

We appreciate your stay and feedback, but sincerely regret it was not a full five-star experience.
We wish the pool issue was highlighted earlier in your visit, our ability to rapidly resolve items like these is limited, when it's done on checkout day.
The heating reset procedure is a quick fix when the safety breaker is only tripped. Our property manager found the heating turned up above the noted level (per the welcome guide) during turnaround.
We had a group of 8 stay over the holidays and although we had some issues, Fred was great in resolving them and very easy to reach, even on Xmas Eve. The house had plenty of room for our group, with the two large living areas and the large kitchen. Pool are was also as advertised and served us well.
The house was very clean and provided all the amenities that we needed for our month stay.
The house location made for easy day trips toPunta Gorda and Gaspirilla State
Park.
My husband and I was most impressed with the maintenance man’s ability and resources.
We have been coming to Port Charlotte for our anniversary for three years now. This by far was the best stay yet. The house is clean and beautiful! Kim was very responsive and helpful. The pictures do it no justice. So comfortable yet modern. We definitely want to stay again. Thank you so much, Kim!
This place was very clean and nice. The pool was perfect for the kids and the rooms were all very spacious. The neighborhood was very quiet and overall nice. The only downside was traveling 15-20 mins to Punta Gorda for dinner. Other than that we would most definately stay here again. Kim was always quick to respond to messages. The cherry on top was the weather was perfect the whole week!!
The home was very clean and in a nice and quiet neighborhood. We would have preferred for the pool to have a complete cage around it. We had to use bug spray on a couple of the warmer nights to keep the biting bugs away.
I personally don't like having to use bug spray. The host was easy to get in contact with.

Hi William, many thanks for the 5 star rating and feedback.
Unfortunately the pool cage was destroyed by Hurricane Ian, which we previously highlighted in the description of the property listing.
We have taken action on the comments with new photos of the pool fence from our property manager, which is now visible to all.
The property continues to enjoy regular insect treatments, externally and inside the house.
We hope to see you and your crew again for the next fishing vacation!
The house was clean and nicely equipped with towels and kitchen needs. The primary bed was almost broken, so we did not use it until it was fixed. The response to get the bed fixed couldn't have been better, the same day! It was nice the pool was cleaned every week of our 4 weeks stay. The owner was extremely responsive and provided recommendations of activities and restaurants in the area.
Called owner 18 hours after arrival, when we were out of water. Sent 15 pictures and videos of filthy house, no water, murky pool. Owner said H2O pressure was “normal for FL”. She later learned county was out of water. Owner verbally agreed to refund 5 nights, we would pay for 2 nights and seek other rental next morning. Filthy conditions in house & pool warranted us to leave. She excused conditions of house “this isn’t a 5 star hotel”. property manager checked pool later that night, owner said nothing was wrong with pool. (Couldn’t see the bottom). Excused that by saying it was obvious we used the pool, yes we all dipped in & immediately got out. It was disguising. After checking out at 11am next morning, she texted she would not refund 5 nights we didn’t stay, like she agreed to refund the previous night. Extremely unprofessional. Owner actually isn’t concerned for tenants. We lost 2,000. DON’T RENT HERE, IT’S FILTHY

We sincerely regret that your stay became a mutual 1 star experience - but it is an outcome that sometimes occurs, when we inform guests that they are breaking house rules.
None of the issues in the guest review were brought to our attention on day 1, only after the compliance notification.
Previous reviews showcase a clean and tidy property and pool. We used the same professional cleaning and pool companies for this stay, and will continue to do so.
Several properties in the area were affected by a burst water main. Although this was outside of our control, the utilities department of Charlotte County responded rapidly to restore services in a couple of hours.
We still offered for the cleaning company to return, but a decision was already made to prematurely check-out, followed by an opportunistic refund request.
This request was never agreed to - which we promptly communicated to VRBO for resolution support.
The house was beautiful! Stocked with all of our basic needs. The pool was clean and heated. Lots of games to play for relaxing at night with family or for cold or rainy weather. We would definitely recommend to our family and friends.
The house was beautiful. The view relaxing. A short drive to a stunning beach. Good good very close. This house fit our needs perfectly for a diverse group. The boys fished in the canal. The kids played in the pool. The adults could set pool side in the shade and relax. It was a 20 minute drive to fisherman’s village and other necessities. We didn’t mind. The drive to the amazing Englewood Beach was an easy drive although it was around 40 minutes. No worries because the beach has plenty of restaurants and full facilities.
The house has the perfect layout. Spacious, nicely decorated and more than enough space for the 8 of us. The pool was a great to relax in and the kids had a blast. The house came stocked with kitchen supplies, pool toys and even pool towels. Would recommend.
Walking it the cleanliness and comfort in the home was perfect! The pool and the water was amazing! We walked and rented a boat and the sunsets and sunrises were awesome! Night time cat fishing was amazing we caught one of the biggest we’ve ever seen! Boys loved it! The heated pool made it perfect for late night swims! I have no complaints except the light switches should be labeled we were confused on what switches worked what and how to turn some things on. I would defiantly rebook and stay here again! Hopefully see ya next year! Oh yeah and the hosts were super fast and punctual I didn’t have to wait for a response so that was very helpful!!
This is a beautiful, spacious open concept home with all of the amenities you could ask for (including a blow-up rainbow pool unicorn)! It was immaculately clean and decorated like a dream vacation - a joy to “come home” to. We loved walking through the neighborhood in the evenings to visit the Gopher tortoises and listen to the birds settling in. We spent mornings and evenings enjoying the pool and patio with fresh, cheerful beach towels. The kitchen is generously supplied with cooking utensils and dinnerware and the linens were sumptuous and plentiful. We couldn’t have been happier and we can’t wait to return!
The property is beautiful and the hosts were great! Everything in the home seemed brand new and was of high quality! The hosts thought of everything…literally anything we wanted was available.
My name is Kim and my husband, Fred, and I live with our four sons in Kansas City. We enjoy traveling, but our hearts belong at the ocean and we always seem to find our way back down to Florida.
Why they chose this property
We bought this property, as we loved the canal access and we plan to park a boat there once we have the jetty built. We adore Southwest Florida and it's 'wild' charm. This property gives us a lovely, quiet base to be able to go and explore all the near by attractions and everything the Southwest has to offer.
What makes this property unique
This house offers a great open concept living, with large living spaces and it located in a quiet residential area - with its own direct access to the canal. Our home has been completely refurnished with all new furniture, to ensure you have a comfortable, relaxing vacation. This property always leaves us with the "I wish we didn't have to leave" feeling and we hope that you experience this too.
