This cozy log cabin is located on the Swan River nestled between the Swan Mountain Range and Mission Mountain Wilderness at mile post 42 on MT Hwy 83. It has a full furnished kitchen and propane fireplace along with 1092 square feet of living space. There are 2 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen) and the third is the loft with 2 single beds. This area is great for younger children since you cannot stand up fully in the loft. You can enjoy beautiful views, a BBQ or camp fire right out your front door with plenty of space for just a couple or a large family. Hiking trails and lakes are nearby and if your interested in a day trip, Glacier National Park is100 miles away. This is a perfect location for family reunions, weddings, hunting parties, etc. when combining your reservation with our other cabins, camp sites, R.V. spots, river site and community hall reservations. Swan Valley Cafe located across the highway is available for event catering as well. Missoula and Kalispell airports are both about an hour drive away.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean and well appointed. It needs a shower curtain that is a bit longer to keep water off the floor. My teenagers loved the lift.

It was a cozy last minute stay in a nicely supplied cabin. The kitchen had plenty of cooking and dining items, and the outside picnic table was pleasant for dinner. Very easy access to the hwy, and great for a one-night stay. The host was very friendly! The wi-fi was essential, as there is otherwise no cell service. Happy to have found it.

This comfortable cabin is well located to take advantage of hiking, boating, and swimming opportunities in the area. It has a small but well stocked kitchen to prepare meals, and we did a lot of cooking on-site. There are few places to eat in the area, so this set-up worked well. A general store is next door that provides food, fishing supplies, laundry facilities, and showers for campers you might be doing activities with. The hostess is very responsive and replied within minutes. The a/c worked fine, the wi-fi and cell service in the general area are spotty, but we were able to catch up with our communications when we were in or near the cabin. Consider bringing up your favorite DVDs if you are staying for a few days. It is a pet friendly cabin which is one of the reasons we stayed here. This lodging provides good value for the dollar.

The cabin had everything we needed and was very convenient to the property we were visiting nearby. Access to the general store was great, owners and dupport staff were very friendly and helpful snd description of property on listing was accurate.

This was the most comfortable place we stayed while in MT. Had plenty of bed space, plenty of living room seating space as well as seating in the kitchen! Would definitely stay here again.

Simple Rustic Get Away

We enjoyed our stay at the Wrangler Cabin. If you like rustic and simple, this is the place for you. Close to the store where you can pick up things you may have forgotten. The host is quick to respond, kind and helpful.

The Wrangler Cabin

The check-in and check-out processes were extremely efficient. And the people we dealt with were easy to work with. The only complaint we had was the furniture could use updating. Even with that, we enjoyed our stay.

Nice location midway between both towns we needed to be in that week. Super nice host and helpers on property. Store on site is really helpful. Fire pit and grill were great for the last warm evenings of the year.Road noise is an issue, as is the heat cycling (very light sleeper). Wifi slow, drops every few minutes, but there's 5g service, and I could have done without (kids not so much).Very cozy cabin - shower is a tough squeeze for a full size man, but workable. All in all, a very relaxing stay and extremely friendly, helpful people. All essentials were there, reasonably clean, well stocked, comfortable and great location - we will likely be back!

Location is next to highway w people camping right next to us. We like small simple cabins like this one, but the furnishings were very old and uncomfortable. Did not meet our needs for a relaxing get away.

Glacier Base Camp

This wonderful cabin was the perfect base camp for our Glacier visit. Clean, well-stocked, with everything we needed. Our teenager loved the loft, while the rest of us adults were very comfortable in the beds on the ground floor. We never turned on the TV, but instead played family games around the dining room table with a cup of hot chocolate. The Hungry Bear Restaurant down the road was the best restaurant of any on our trip. Check in was so easy and check out even easier. Thank you so much for letting use your cabin. GJ from Denver
