Perfection

This house was absolutely perfect for our family Christmas getaway. It was clean and exactly as described. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and had a great coffee bar. The host was so responsive and accommodating. This house has everything necessary for a large group getaway. The bunk room away from the other bedrooms was a great place for our teens to hang out. Beds were great as well! We loved this place and would recommend to anyone visiting Whitefish.

The house and property are gorgeous, we had a great family vacation celebrating our parent's 50th wedding anniversary. We had plenty of space and the kids loved the bunk room. The host was excellent to work with and puts a lot of care into this property. We loved the privacy while still being close to town.

Annual Adventure Trip

Our group of 4 couples stayed at this truly lovely and modern home and loved it! Plenty of room to spread out, enjoyed the beautiful kitchen and deck. Very clean and well organized and labeled, informational booklet provided answers to our questions. We all loved it and would stay there again!

Spectacular home!

We spent the week at Back Forty Lodge to celebrate my daughter’s wedding in Whitefish. Everything was perfect. There was plenty of space for family. Each guest had their own bathroom. The owner went above and beyond to help make this an enjoyable week. I would give him a more than 5 star rating if I could.

Hello! As an owner of this amazing property, I would like to welcome you and hope I can meet the challenge of creating a memorable experience for you. I have 12 years of hospitality experience as well as an additional 7 years in the technology industry to aid me in creating something unique.

Why they chose this property

You'd hard pressed to find a greater, more private location of this size, this close to town. We have 40 wooded acres at the end of a long private road, yet we are still only 3 miles from town, 5 1/2 miles to the ski area, and 10 minutes from the airport. You can truly experience the dark sky, the wilderness, and wildlife all while wrap yourself in the luxury of a newly renovated smarthome, with it interior furnishings designed and provided by Restoration Hardware.
