Wouldn’t stay here again

To start with the air conditioner was not functioning when arrived, we had been pre warned which was good but we arrived 2.5 hrs after check in and the place was scorching. Had to call an after hours emergency number and the office was great and got someone back out that night. This goes on but regardless it took a day and a half of our trip from us because people were coming in and out. Office told me they would try to get me some refund (I did not ask for) but after our stay I never heard a word. The unit was remodeled very poor the tiles in shower would move if you pressed on them and had a hole in the ceiling. The slats on balcony porch were wide enough that our 18 month old could have slid through them (I’m sure they were up to code but felt pretty wide to us). The kitchen area was pretty dated but ok. There was hand prints all around the breaker box and Sheetrock dust under it, which I would assume it was due to the recent hvac technicians. We found a used napkin under 1 table and an empty chicken salad can in the bedroom (who eats chicken salad out of a can and much less in bed anyways). Furnishings in the living room were nice. The office personnel were great and over all the place was ok.

Amazing view, smelly master

This property has amazing views from the deck, seen in both master and family room. The main problem with this unit was there was a horrible sulfur smell that came from the shower in the master bath. There were also holes in the wall and ceiling of the shower that toilet paper was stuffed In. It was so bad we decided not to use that shower and only use the other bathroom. The unit was spacious and well stocked. The building itself was old and the elevator was definitely questionable. The pool was pretty basic, and small. One family pretty much took up the whole thing. The location was great for walking to restaurants and viewing the Friday fireworks.

Perfection!

This could not have been a better stay! My husband and I and our 2 teenage girls have never been to North Carolina, and this place was the best introduction. The photos do not do it justice. It was clean, cozy and all around perfect! Comfortable beds, great pillows and a great kitchen. The beach was just a ride down the elevator and a few steps away, and the pool and outdoor showers were great! (Clean, and private) Close walk or drive to great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, the boardwalk and a convenient gas station right across the street. Call Toni Silvagni for beach chair and umbrella rental (we learned that on day 2!) you won’t regret it. They deliver chairs and umbrellas on the beach in the early AM, and pick up PM. Umbrellas are a must in August! Shuckin’ Shack, Fat Pelican, Granny’s Country Kitchen, Michaels Seafood and Havanas were all great. We have rented places for years.. and this place actually delivered as to what was presented online. Check in and check out we’re fast and easy and the ladies at the office weee so sweet . Thanks for a great week we will never forget!
